Nite Ize Hitch Phone Anchor & Lanyard – Secure Cell Phone - Anchor & Quick-Release Lanyard for Drop Protection & Convenience – Black

Very happy with the quality and functionality of this Nite-Ize product. Bought these specifically to use on vacation. They provide a secure way to hold your phone while taking hundreds of vacation photos. I didn’t have to worry about dropping my phone from the tour bus, or overlooking ruins, or extending over a ledge. They are easy to install and the included S-biner makes them even easier to use. No problems charging my phone with these installed - USB-C or MagSafe. The strap is tough but not rough or abrasive. Very pleased with this product.

I have a Samsung Galaxy s20, for reference. I looked at several different phone anchor manufacturers and read carefully through many before selecting the Nite Ize Hitch. I ordered this late last night and it arrived in the early afternoon today! I was concerned about the fit of my phone case after reading some reviews where people had issues with the phone popping out because my phone fits pretty snugly already. So I popped the phone out last night and stuck my driver's license in there and then reinserted the phone and it was okay, so I took a chance and ordered it. I installed it without even using the adhesive and it is holding tight! I got the lanyard attachment instead of the coil or the stretchy and short silicone lanyard attachment. This better suits my personal needs and I think is stronger and will last longer than the others would. I have arthritis and my hands are not small, and I was able to work the lock on the s-biner just fine. 2 pictures shown with the charging cable attached and charging (1), with the lanyard in the photo for more detail (2), and then with the case closed so you can see how well it all fits (3). I feel the price is very reasonable considering the features and details listed above and I would definitely recommend this Nite Ize brand of anchor to anyone with a similar phone.

Purchased this for a vacation on a photo safari so I could keep my phone camera handy while also being able to have my hands on my Panasonic Lumix. It worked very well and I always knew where my phone was and didn't need to worry about dropping it as it was always attached to me. Very good for when you are a woman and don't always have quality pockets in your clothes (Give Us Pockets!). It allowed me to easily hide the phone inside my jacket while keeping it attached to my person when in crowded areas as well. I will probably use it every time I travel (it was very convenient for digital boarding passes) and the clip system seems very sturdy. I also really like that the S-biner has a little lock function to make it very difficult for someone to sneakily unclip the phone from the lanyard. The insert that goes behind the phone in the case to provide the little ring for the S-biner is only compatible with a full case that goes all the way around the edges of the phone. NOTE: I have an iPhone 8 and a spigen case with some flex so I was easily able to access the charging port with the anchor installed behind the phone between it and the case, but my sister's Google Pixel has a hard case so she had to pop it out of the case to charge it as the anchor pushed the port forward just enough to not align properly with the charging port hole in her case. It was annoying when we had to pop it out of the case to charge it in the car while using her phone for navigation. But this issue is more about the cases we had than this lanyard system. Just something to consider when deciding if you want to use this type of anchor that mounts inside a third party case.

The weight of the phone on my neck was surprisingly uncomfortable and the phone e bounced a lot as I walked. But I have to say the lanyard-strap was made of smooth material. The plastic tongue that goes inside the phone case was thin and stuck well once in position. The clip to the lanyard was strong and difficult to clip onto the eyelet of the tongue but sturdy once you had it clipped. It was a tight fit for my charging cord while the lanyard was installed but it did charge.

Great addition to phone

A great product, with nothing else I can find that works this way. I use my phone as a camera on roofs and this is perfect. A couple flaws though: 1: the anchor is thin, but still there. Which means the bottom of your phone is pushed forward slightly when inserted into the case. This is not a problem for all cases, but with some cases like otter box and lifeproof you may have trouble fitting some chargers into the openings at the bottom of the case, because the phone is not perfectly flush in the case with this anchor behind it. Works well with my mous case though. 2: the flaps on the left and right side of the bottom of the anchor get pulled down and cover the microphone on the bottom of the phone. Particularly causes problems when trying to use speakerphone. As shown in my photo, I fixed this by using duct tape to affix the anchor to the inside of the case so that it won’t slide down.

I use these to hold my phone on a cross body strap. The previous one from Nite Ize lasted for 4 years before the fabric loop looked like it might break. This one now looks like it's ready to go in less than a year. Very disappointed

I use it with a landyard as a backup for the Quadlock phone case when on snowmobile or watercraft. QuadLock is great .. but better to be safe when on rough rides or seas ! Fits nicely in case, does not affect charging port, and works well with the Plastic/silicone cover from QuadLock system.

I have now switched from carrying ladies (sling) bag and just use this one instead. I can fit my keys, a hand sanitizer and my phone into this. It does not feel too heavy as well. I was worried that the inner patch is too fragile to carry such weight but now I have no doubts! I’ve been using it almost everyday

First the film is too thick that it wont fit on any phone with protective casing. Secondly, the lanyard is a bit short (Not adjustable). Two stars because of the thickness of the film. The lanyard can be used for sonething else.

I am soooo glad I bought this. It came in so handy while I traveled and rode on the top of double decker buses and stood in high spots. I am so afraid of dropping my phone so having this gives succch peace of mind. Highly recommend.
