Yves Saint Laurent Paris For Women. Eau De Toilette Spray 4.2 Oz.

I've been wearing Paris for 37 years and buying a lot to stock up in case YSL ever discontinues. I wanted to have a light lovely scent my then babies would always recognize as me, and they do! The moment I walk into a room, they know I'm there without even seeing me though I wear only a light spritz. Even my dog, of course he does, knows when I'm home and can sniff me out easily. This scent is floral and not overpowering and not at all cloying. LOVE LOVE it and the city Paris too! I don't even know anyone else who uses this so it is also unique. Well worth trying -- often easy to do in airport duty free shops or large department stores or Sephoras etc...

I am revisiting vintage perfumes I was too young to wear or appreciate at the time, this one is one of them. Launch in 1983 as a tribute by YSL to the Parisiennes who are elegant, romantic, vivacious, iconic, simple and charming. This is a gorgeous light woody-floral, bergamot, violet, rose perfume. Wearing this feels so naturally feminine and romantic. Paris is vintage yet modern, not the typical sweet gourmand, but classy and chic scent of a real Paris woman. The bottle is heavy gorgeous cut crystal bottle with a pink and black cap. Everything about this perfume radiates elegance. Top Notes: Rose, Mimosa, Hyacinth, Geranium, Green Notes, Orange Blossom, Naturtium, Hawthorn, Cassia , Bergamot. Heart Notes: Rose, Violet, Lily, Lime Blossom, Ylang Ylang, Lily of the Valley, Jasmine, Orris Root. Base Notes: Iris, Musk, Heliotrope, Sandalwood, Oakmoss, Amber, Cedar.

Was concerned about purchasing this b/c of several negative reviews on the scent. I LOVE this scent, have used it for 20+ years, and have a little few drops left in a very old bottle I purchased at >some< dept. store years ago. I purchased this through a third-party seller (see my seller review) who gave me a guarantee even though Amazon doesn't on perfume (flammable liquids/shipping issues). This bottle is every bit as awesome as the old bottle I got years ago! It's so wonderful, like Springtime in Paris! LOL!!! I have never smelled (could not afford!) the eau de parfume, so maybe ppl are comparing the different products. Maybe there really WERE some crap knock-offs being sold (many of those reviews are years' old). I am in disbelief that I got the LARGE bottle for 65 dolls when I have paid at least 20 more than that many years ago. There are hints of powder, flowers...not musky or heavy, which I hate, but very delicate. If I sniff my wrist even a day later (pre-shower), it is still faintly there. Yes, it WILL smell different on each person, about a half hour after application. If you never smelled this before, maybe try it out in a store (if you can still find it), but I am extremely happy with my purchase and the seller I used.

I have been using Paris for the longest time, and I love the scent. Before Paris, I used Baby Doll. Unfortunately, it was discontinued many years ago. Yves Saint Laurent’s perfumes have worked for me for the past 60 years and they have been affordable for daily use.

Light breezy scent, I absolutely love this Eau De Toilette spray, much better than the perfume. Perfume is a stronger scent, and I believe that it is different smell all together.

You can’t find this perfume anywhere anymore. So I bought this in case Amazon stops selling it too. I don’t know how old the perfume is but it was the exact perfume I’ve bought before.
