This clock is adorable!! And it's completely silent. The second hand doesn't tick away the seconds at all but slowly and silently moves around the clock. My son said there's something oddly unsatisfying that it doesn't "stop" at each number with a " tick" lol. But I absolutely love it and it looks amazing in my baby's room! Definitely recommend this adorable clock!
