I got this to use with certain electronics projects and things and for certain physics labs for classes. Didn't have much in the way of instructions but with Youtube and the internet available its not that big of an issue. It's also not the most complicated thing to use in the first place. With my voltmeter I found the power supply displays/measurements to be pretty accurate. A little smaller than I imagined, which is nice. I'll have fun using it with a bunch of various things. A solid buy if its something that you'll use a lot. Can't speak to much on longevity since I just recently bought it but hopefully it lasts a long time.

Bought this supply to power a hot wire foam cutter, works great in this application. I checked the DC output with my Digital Volt Meter and found no more than a 0.05V difference. The voltage and current adjustment are 5 turn knobs which allow me to easily make adjustments to one tenth of a volt/amp. The current limit works well and is perfect for use with my foam cutter. I set 7 to 9 volts turn down the current adjustment to zero then connect the cutter. After that its just a matter of turning up the current between 2 - 2.5 Amps . The output voltage changes as necessary to maintain the current setting which keeps the cutter at consistent temp

The media could not be loaded.  great power supply ! I Use this power supply to fix computers and this is holding up nicely. The fan turns on when this is on active and turns off when not use. I was able to fix about 10 laptops with this . It came with many plug . It gave me a free multimeter cable . This is absolutely worth the time to try this out . Just amazing!

I was very skeptical at first... Especially at $30. But I have verified the voltage and amperage with my fluke 287 meter while idle and under duress. The "noise" I was seeing on the equipment was equal to 5% of the set voltage/amperage. This was well within my acceptance range!The dials take a fine touch to adjust and the screen is clear and bright. It's a very small form factor, to boot! Very glad I purchased this unit.

I'm just starting out in invention electronics...and have found this variable power supply more than enough to meet my needs. I use it every day. It works as advertised. 5/5 rating.I would order this again.

The media could not be loaded.  Supply doesn't supply a constant 5a when in CC mode. You shouldn't have to increase the voltage in CC mode to deliver set current as long as your set voltage is above the short circuit voltage defined by the resistance you've applied and the current you have set.

Nice and small, fits into many places and not very heavy. I have used it working on various electronics including phones and computers.I have only used this at about 50w maximum. I do not know if it will hold up with continued high watt usage.For the price, it will pay for itself quickly.
