A decent book, not the "one" book to end all books on this subject though.
This book was OK. It was published in the UK so all the measurements are in metric. This isn't that big of a deal as long as you know the conversions or use metric. It is a decent book, several of the vegetables are labeled as what I would call "UK" labels meaning I had to look up the name and get the "American" name. I am still looking for that "one" book that I can keep in my home library that will answer everything I want to know. If I would have checked this book out at a library before I purchaed it, I would not have purchased it.

brilliant
I started reading my book asd soon as it arrived, I was so excited at the prospect of being able to grow vegetables and flowers all year round. The book explains perfectly how to make the most of my poly tunnel, I am so pleased wih the book, I would definately recommend it to my friends. Thank-you

Like it.
It compliments the other polytunnel book. It gives me information that the other doesn't. It is in a very different format but still VERY helpful.

excellent resource!
So much information, logically organized and plainly explained. There were so many parts where I thought that just one section was worth the book purchase. I've had a poly tunnel for years and am newly inspired!

Good reference book for unheated ghs
This book gives good info to grow in an unheated ghs. I think the info will be as relevant for North Am as it is for the UK.

Superb guide
Firstly, I have not quite finished this book yet. Just got to the end of the detailed growing instructions for individual fruit and vegetables. But I can already tell that this is a really good guide for the polytunnel novice. It not only has good general advice but then excellent guidance on the most common (and not so common) vegetables and fruits that can be grown in a tunnel. This book will be put in a plastic pouch and "go with me" to the tunnel at all times. There is a spreadsheet overview of what to sow and harvest when. A similar overview of vegetables that like similar soil conditions (to help with planning the beds) and on how much space they need and at what time would be a great addition (this could be based on a family of 4?). Obviously, the latter would be a rough guide only as dependent on grower's choices. As it is, I am compiling my own spreadsheet because I do not have enough experience to remember it all. And it will be useful for following years. And I will have that apricot tree in my tunnel!

Very informative
Was very pleased with the book. Provides a lot of information for use after you've constructed the polytunnel

What a lovely little book!
We recently purchased a polytunnel and wanted to know the best way to use it. This book is very clear and concise from the start of deciding what to place in the polytunnel monthly to the all year round maintenance. As my husband completes the last part of the polytunnel I am really looking forward to using this book to the max! This book is just what we wanted and money well spent
