Review from the Perspective of a Twitch-Affililated Streamer
When it comes to having the right stuff to livestream games on Twitch (the largest streaming platform), there is a pretty big list of items that you'll need in your cart to be able to have a smooth-running show, These include the PC, monitors, webcam, microphone, mixer (sometimes), capture card, and of course the console games (which has HDMI cables most of the time nowadays). An HDMI Switch is an incredible help in connecting multiple devices to one TV input. When HDMI ports are limited on your TV, this product comes in a pinch. In this review, I will be sharing my experiences (including pros and cons) of the HDMI Switch by Koopman.First of all, I'd like to thank Koopman for reaching out to me to review this product for them. They were always in good communications with me on social media sites like Instagram and also on email. The shipping of this product was very fast, especially for the fact it was listed under Amazon Prime's two-day shipping option. Package was complete with the product and cables, and the company even has some sweepstakes for their products, pretty smart for marketing! The product has 4 different slots that you can plug HDMI devices in. In my case, I was able to plug in most of my gaming consoles, including my Microsoft Xbox One, Sony Playstation 4, Nintendo WiiU, and Nintendo Switch Consoles (and if there were more slots, i could use them, because i also have a Roku streaming device and a Nintendo SNES Classic device (which plays the old Super Nintendo Entertainment System Games). Also be aware that this device does require there to be a Power Outlet in close range (the power adapter cord is included, and its a shorter than I wanted it to be). The LED indicators are bright and a clearly show what device is currently on, and all it takes is a button press to switch. The most important thing and best thing about this HDMI Switch device in my experiences is that it worked smoothly when communicating with my Elgato HD60S capture card. If I wanted to switch consoles while I am streaming from playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on my Nintendo Switch to Rocket League on my Xbox One to Overwatch on PS4, and then back to my Nintendo Switch to play Super Smash Bros., I can do all that without delay or issue. Being able to do this saves me from needing to waste time get up to manually plug in and out hdmi devices into my capture card. And now to review the PROS and CONS:PROS:-Ships Amazon Prime (if you need it quickly)-Pricepoint is great for the quality of the product-Works seamlessly when connected to a television or a capture card.-Has a good number of hdmi slots (4 in total)-Works great with 720P televisions, even though its advertised to work with 4K Televisions-Great customer service with KoopmanCONS:-AC Power Cord Needs to Be Longer (i was barely able to position it so it wound't stretch)-More slots possible in a future model?VERDICT:To be quite honest, it was hard for me to find cons besides the power cord, as this product is definitely solid. I had a very successful experience with the product for using it for my streaming pleasures on Twitch. I would definitely say this is a must-buy when it comes to someone that wants to stream multiple consoles on Twitch and wants the most time-efficient transition. And even if you aren't a streamer, its still a very quick and easy way to switch between home console devices on your television, whether its a 720HD television like mine, a 4K television like advertised, or something inbetween.Bottom line, the Koopman HDMI Switch is worth every penny!

True 18 Gbps switch. Excellent value.
I’m happy to report that this very affordable HDMI switch carries full bandwidth 18 Gbps 4K RGB 60Hz signals flawlessly. Additionally, it supports proper passthrough of Dolby Vision, Low Level Dolby Vision (LLDV), HDR10, as well as Dolby Atmos and Dolby Atmos MAT signals. I did not test HLG, nor HDR10+, as I did not have any test material readily available at the moment.I’m very impressed with the performance of this switch. It wasn’t long ago that a device of similar performance cost $60+.I verified all signals and EDID support via an HDFury DIVA and HDFury Vertex from Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, Apple TV 4K, and NVidia GPU. I encountered no signal dropouts or visual disturbances using a variety of HDMI cables from Monoprice, AmazonBasics, and KabelDirect.HDMI input switching is automatic and fast; however, has limited functionality with devices that do not fully power down (Apple TV for example), as is the case with most auto switch implementations that rely on voltage detection. For maximum functionality, the auto switch should be used only with devices that can be fully powered off, or that suspend HDMI voltage when in standby. YMMV.There does not appear to be a way to disable auto switching, but the switch button or remote control can be used instead for manual control. The remote comes with a CR2025 installed.Nice design, although it would be nice if hdmi output and power ports were located in line with the input ports to maintain a cleaner profile.Build quality is okay, the material is mostly plastic with a thin layer of aluminum finish around the sides. The top and bottom are a reflective material that will accumulate scratches quickly once the protective film is removed. The inputs and outputs are amusingly labeled “in put” and “out put”.The switch requires external power and will not operate with HDMI power like some other switches where the external power is optional at lower resolutions. It would also be nice if product included 5v barrel-tip to usb power cable as appears in their marketing pictures. Instead it contains a typical barrel to wall plug, which is less flexible than USB style power cords depending on your power outlet availability. Additionally, the cord on the power supply is very short @ 3 ft, but typical for many 5v power supplies.Overall, it’s hard to beat the performance of this device at its price point. If you’re looking for a very affordable 4-port HDMI switch that delivers on its promise of 4K 4:4:4/RGB @ 60hz, I’d suggest you give this one a shot.

Works with Next Gen Game consoles in 4K 60hz.
This product was purchased for its small footprint, feature set, and price compared to other brands. It comes with a remote w/battery (I've no need to use, but it works fine), USB cable, and Power Adapter. Overall this HDMI Switch functions as stated with full 4K 60hz throughput, and unlike my older HDMI 1.4 Switch, happily works with the Xbox Series X and the PS5 with no complaints on the part of the consoles. On my part, and I am unsure if it is my setup, my TV, or the Switch, but I oft have to toggle the source from the Console input to another input and back for it to catch the Audio Signal. A minor bother, but AGAIN, may not be the Switch. Either way I would recommend this device for its features matching up with its claims, ease of setup, its USB power input (so you can replace the AC Adapter with ease), and when you "register" it, Koopman's 2 year warranty. Here's hoping it lasts as long as I need to use it.
