They worked but had wire plug connection issues that were resolved by the seller
We bought these and used them to talk to each other while riding 2 people on the same bike during a 3-week cross-country trip. We did not test other functions. They are vulnerable to damage where the wire from the speaker/microphone plugs into the electronic unit. The plug is on the bottom and positioned such that it will come in contact with whatever surface the helmet is resting on when you take it off, and might also be nudged by your jacket collar while riding and turning your head. Even though we were careful to prop up the helmet to keep the plug off the ground, by the end of our 3-week trip, both intercoms were having trouble with the connection. It began as a sporadic problem, but by the end of our trip we were basically constantly battling this problem. We would have to keep fiddling with the connection in order to hear each other talking, and even when we weren't talking, there were constant clicking noises as the connection was going in and out.- Update: The seller kindly contacted us and sent us 2 new wire/speaker sets. And that did resolve the problem. To keep them from being damaged again, I think I'll have to add some material to the brackets to protect the plug, or we could possibly unplug the wires from the units before resting the helmets on a surface, although I am not so sure that plugging it in and out that often would be great either. Another option would be to use the alternative adhesive velcro mounts so that the unit could be mounted higher on the side of the helmet, but that method doesn't seem as secure as the clamp style mounts. We were able to communicate pretty well up to at least maybe around 60 mph, but at interstate highway speeds, like 70 to 80 mph most of the time we could not understand each other. We wear full face helmets and ear plugs to protect from wind noise and we kept the volume cranked all the way up, which seemed to have the best result. We tested them without earplugs but that was more difficult to understand. I think this is not bad as there is only so much that can be done to override the extreme wind noise at high speeds. If you hold the power button for a certain number of seconds they will turn off. But if you hold the power button for a different number of seconds it will wipe the memory and you'll have to redo the bluetooth connection next time you turn them on. The instructions are clear about this, and it's not so bad after you get used to it and understand which beep sounds to listen for as you are turning them off, but still this is a bit silly. I guess it's just a method of trying to minimize the number of physical buttons.

Decent for the price
TLDR: Does a fine job for the price. Device longevity has led me to purchase a different brand for my primary device. Shouldn't need to replace something like this on a yearly basis.I purchased the two pack for communication while riding dirt bikes. Bluetooth feature to phone is nice, can make calls and listen to music. Speakers were adequate. Clear audio when intercommed to another device. Line of sight is very important if you want any sort of range on these. Always seemed to have some issues connecting, had to turn off bluetooth on phone prior to connecting two devices for intercom, and always seemed to need to do a device reset when connecting the two devices for intercom (regardless of connecting to the same device or a different one). After a year, the intercom feature seemed to stop working. Potentially due to battery life issues? I have contacted the seller and they are sending a replacement device, despite being past the 1 year warranty period - props to them for that.

It's amazing (for the price)
Overall, a great value for the money.Max volume: just enough to be heard at high speeds. I find myself keeping it at max more often than not, but slightly changing the install position and angle can significantly help here.Audio quality: it's not amazing. However, I would place the audio quality around the same as a 30$ pair of earbuds. Considering the price of the unit, I'd say it's more than fair. And compared to other products, you'll have to start spending over 100$ before you see any increase in quality.Battery life: great. I've had it playing for 8 hours with no low battery warning. After two weeks, the battery did die completely however, and the unit would not turn on. I contacted the seller, who is easy to work with, and got a replacement almost right away.Mounting mechanism: adequate. I'm using the clip, so I can speak to the adhesive. It won't fall off while riding, but can get moved when bumped. Just pay attention to adjusting it and nothing will do wrong.Connection: I've seen a few other people here saying it drops out above certain speeds. I've never had this issue, even when going 85 on the freeway, but your mileage may vary.Final thoughts: it's about budget. This is far and away the best product within it's price range. If you're looking for a sub 100$ product, this is it.

MEETS MY NEEDS (MUSIC AND CALLS)
Well been 1 year and 6 months and no issues in performance. I actually bought a second one for my fiancee. She can listen while she rides passenger to her tunes and communicate more effectively with me while riding. Only hiccup is other riders cant sync up with my device. Sena, Cardo etc... can't sync up easily it happens almost accidentally when we finally get open coms happening. Its okay tho I don't ride to talk to them anyway and with Siri or Google assistant I can just ask for the call to contact the other rider and their unit allows a phone call communication. Maybe not the most efficient ,but it works. The Bluetooth is good I listen to music or if I'm parked up for a bit even watch YouTube videos with surround sound lol. Anyway been in rain, hot, cold, and humid and works like a charm.

Sound Quality is Bad
I bought this for my second helmet. I have a different system on my other helmet, and thought I'd try this one out, especially since the price was significantly lower than my other setup. Installing and setup were really easy, had no issues. When I first turned it on I was in my house, and the speakers sounded alright....I have it installed in a full face helmet, and I ride my street bike almost daily on the highway to commute. Once up to highway speed, I can barely hear anything. Compared to my other helmet and setup, these speakers are garbage. I will be trying to look for better speakers, and won't be returning because I've obviously already put in the effort to install this setup. Hopefully I can find replacement speakers/mic.
