Fixes intermittent automotive sensor connections
Used it on two different sensors which were giving me check engine or check stability control warnings. Instantly resolved both problems and neither one have returned in the last 3 weeks. Hopefully gone for good. Is expensive per ounce but a lot cheaper than replacing sensors or wiring. And a lot easier.

Great product but I should have thought more about the packaging
DeoxIT is a well known product and probably the "Gold Standard" for cleaning and treating electronic connections. Everybody swears by the product. It's so embedded in the electronic repair space that it's become a verb. It's not uncommon to hear someone say, "I DeoxITed all the connections and now it works as it should."Despite high praise for the product, this package is a real pain to use. I should have thought ahead so I take the blame. The tiny brush is so short that unless the connection you want to clean is right on top, you have to find something longer to use...like a Q-tip. There's a tiny amount of DeoxIT in this little bottle, by the time you dip in a Q-tip a few times, the bottle is empty. BUY A BIGGER SIZE, IT'LL BE MORE ECONOMICAL IN THE END because you won't waste as much.

First/last contact cleaner you'll buy.
Caig DeoxIT is the only electronic contact cleaner/deoxidizer you'll ever consider once you use it. The fluid comes in a tiny vial, & contains no solvents, just a contact-conditioning lubricant that addresses a list of failure points that afflict battery leads, ribbon cables, zero-insertion-force connectors, etc..If you have occasion to revive electronics, instead of just tossing them into landfill when they're unresponsive, or if you ever change a battery, you'll not thrive without a vial of DeoxIT.

The most important step in treating my audio/video equipment.
I use Deoxit Red on all my power outlets on the walls that I use my entertainment with. Such as my computer, my audio system and where I charge my phone. I also clean all power plugs both male and female as well as any audio/video plugs that I can access with a cotton swab kit I buy here. I do this once a year. My system sounds best for a period right after I clean my connections so perhaps it would be best to do this once every 3 months.

Best product for the job
Used DeoxIT to restore some battery terminals damaged by leaking alkaline cells in a remote control. It did an excellent job of cleaning off the majority of the corrosion and restoring the remote to working condition.

Not much there but.
Dispencer is quite small. Only 1.6ml. Used carefully it should last a good while. The spray can version wastes an awful lot.
