Perfect
This book was perfect for teaching me step by step how to navigate and work in the Adobe program. I recommend it without reservation.

Horrible content for a great product
I've been an Adobe product user for 25 years, starting with Photoshop 1 and Illustrator 88. I'm an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop, and I use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat... on an almost daily basis. I'm also an experienced instructor in all things Adobe. This book is one of the WORST products ever released from the CIB line. One thing I've always disliked about the product line is how complicated the projects are -- they are definitely NOT for the feint of heart, stepping through several hundred steps to achieve a result. That doesn't work -- especially for beginners. I understand the need for COMPLETE training products, but users need to learn to crawl, then walk, then run, in that order. CIB products often have users sprinting before they can stand.Frequently, tutorials are included in the books just to showcase a NEW feature or a relatively UNKNOWN feature of the software. I think these books are partially written by the marketing dept-- as an experienced user, there are things in these programs that I have never used or have no need for, but the books always include those features. I would rather see products that teach, then reinforce, the mainstream uses for the software, whether it's being used for print or web design.Part of the problem lies in the software industry's need to continually upgrade and maintain a stream of income for the company. I get that. The problem is, the features they include in their software is not what someone would use the software for. I don't know anybody who is using InDesign to create web pages, yet they keep stuffing that kind of useless features into the software. Where does it all end? I guess when we have Photo-Illu-Inde-Flash-Acro-Dream-Shop that creates every kind of imaginable graphic with a single click...This book simply did not offer a good overview for the product. I know you can't really cover 5 or 6 programs in a single book, but they could have done a better job of teaching the main features, and less showing all the "cool" stuff the new software can do.This is definitely a "Pass".

Damaged CD
I was looking forward to using this product to better acquaint myself with the CS6 programs. This book comes with a disc that stores the lesson files. When I attempted to download those files I could only see two of the lessons on the disc, lessons 2 and 3. The disc is damaged and I cannot access the other lessons. The book is somewhat helpful, but I go to Adobe TV to learn what it dosen't cover.

Gives few ideas, but save the money
This book is more of a marketing demo that teaching anything. If you do not know individual products you will be lost. It also seems like few chapters were written in a hurry because they are missing details (for example where to find used functions).I got the book as a preorder on the first day and wanted to understand how other pieces of CS work with InDesign... the book contains less information about it than the InDesign CIB itself.Yes, I got few ideas from the book, but reading Adobe discussion boards is more beneficial...

Adobe Sucks
I innocently bought a pirated version of CS6 Design and Web Premium in 2014. In 2018 Adobe 'deactivated' my software serial number, rendering it useless. Since Adobe accepted my serial number and registration when I bought it, I had no idea it was pirated. I get their software was stolen by pirates. But I'm an innocent victim, too. They don't care. They don't have to. Schools require students to buy and learn their software. So I can't give this book anything more than a 'profane waste of my time and money' rating.

Great Book
This book was required for class, and I found it is very useful for someone pursuing a path in Graphic Designer.

Five Stars
Great software, bot the learning curve is long because of it's many capabilities

Ok, but a bit sparse.
I was a little disappointed by this book. It really only includes quite short sections on each of the Design & Web premium packages. The content that is there is very good, easy to follow and well illustrated, but if you are looking to get a bit more in-depth, it would be worth buying the classroom in a book title for the individual software package you are interested in.

LOVE this book
LOVE this book! I am still working my way through it, but honestly, you probably don't ever have to go cover to cover to find this useful. It's basically a toolbox. Since Photoshop is new to me, I refer to this constantly. Pick out what I need to do, search in here and tah dah, problem solved, possibly in several ways so pick what suits you or the job at hand best.I use Photoshop CC 2014 and still find this invaluable. If you get only one Photoshop book in your life this, or if it has a successor for Cretaive Cloud, is the one!

College textbook
Needed this book for school. Exactly what I ordered. The book has some pretty heavy tutorials, but I'm also still a newbie. Pretty cheap compared to the 60$ price tag at my school bookstore.
