1203BB 6V 12V 3A 80W DC Motor Speed Controller (PWM) Adjustable Motor Driver

This device operates exactly as advertised. I thought I had a bad board, then I replaced the 5 volt supply with a 9 volt supply and everything sprang to life. Well built, includes a Knob and Nut & Washer for the shaft. Be sure to NOT reverse polarity on the input to the board (no protection). I bought this controller for a portable antenna rotator, placed it in a plastic project box and wired everything up, and now I can have my portable amateur radio fun on hilltops with the added benefit of a directional antenna. My little beam rotates very slowly, allowing me to dial in a received signal and reject all the stuff to the sides. Thank you KK6USY for the awesome YT video!

Replaced pathetic ventline bathroom exhaust fan in camper. We wired in & mounted this controller to a vortex1 upgrade fan insert. The guys drilled hole & tapped threads in the plastic housing so this could be screwed in for mounting. It's very secure done that way. Had to cut out rectangle hole for the rocker switch. Looks like it came from factory that way. Very pleased with this controller. Vortex1 fan upgrade kit that was originally only 1 speed can now be run variable speeds, intake and exhaust. No problems, so far so good.

The proper way to provide speed control for small dc motors is via pwm. This provides speed control while maximizing torque, which is not the case if a rheostat is used instead. This one is fairly inexpensive and works well, though I haven't run it a lot yet.

The switch is on-off-on (reverse polarity), sort of a pain in the ass. Not easy to set up for on/off. The switch itself is a rocker switch that is useful for ??, who knows.

I purchased a 1 speed/direction RV Vent Fan and this item and it works great allowing the control of the fan speed and the rocker switch allows for forward/reverse fan direction.

I had an issue with my Maxx Air fan. I couldn't raise the speed in either direction without it going into a default mode beeping and stopped working. I couldn't get the part through Maxx Air so I found This tiny switch. It fit right in and makes my fan work perfectly again.

Installed it on my 12v RV bathroom vent fan and it works perfectly. The fan draws about 1.6 amps. The speed control is perfect, good linear range from very low to full RPM. No electrical noise or hum can be heard either.

Size of product is good but I expected bigger. For this small circuit, money is high.
