Exactly what I was looking for (super compact)
It was hard to find a strong but compact slider that could fit on my backpack and this one is perfect! It's really solid! It has 1/4" and 3/8" holes to use it on a tripod. Adjusting knob it's nice but it's more to lock the system instead of adjust the smoothness. It's better to release the pressure to keep it smooth. One thing that I'm trying to do is to adapt a stepped motor and make it automatic. Since it has 1/4 holes in each side, I think I can make it.

Another disappointment
It’s just not smooth. It’s otherwise a nice form factor and seems well built. I think if they had used carbon fiber rails or better bearings it would be great. The tracking on it is rough and is only somewhat useable on its loosest setting.

Smooth, portable, and well built
The media could not be loaded. Perfect low budget slider for any situation. Smooth and professional, but also a very solid build.
