Danya B. Waves 3 Level Shelving System

These are really pretty shelves. They are also MUCH bigger than you think they are. The description tells you how big the set is, but honestly, I was pretty surprised at how much area they covered when all put together. I bought 3 sets thinking they would make a nice arrangement on my wall if I just cascaded them downward. Not. If I did that, they would go ceiling to floor in my room. What I wound up doing was putting up the first set, then staggering another, using only two of the three shelves, and finishing with another three set at the same level as the first. It looks beautiful. I do suggest that you install them into studs. They are pretty heavy shelves and when you add your stuff, they really need the support of the studs. The manufacturer includes anchors in the kit for use in regular dry wall. I tried it one time and managed to push the anchor all the way through the dry wall. Back to the studs. I did find out something interesting about my house, though. I installed the first set of squiggles right into the stud. The next two missed the studs. The studs in my house are not plumb!!! The shelves will hold because enough of it is in studs, but it was interesting! The hardest part of installation here is deciding where the first squiggle is going to go. The rest is a piece of cake and goes in really, really fast. Yes, as others have said, the squiggles are plastic, not metal. It doesn't take away from the look of these lovely shelves. I'm glad I got them.

Uprights are plastic. Shelves are heavy and nice, but I have no confidence it will hold what I want it to plus the heavy shelves. Looks ok, but returned to store. Lost money on the shipping. Oh well.

Cheap product. I should have read the reviews before buying - the wall mounts are made of cheap plastic. The hardware that comes with it is useless, you need better anchors because the ones they give you are breakable plastic. Buy yourself some joint compound, you'll probably need it.

These shelves are really nice quality. I was surprised that the back wall pieces were plastic as I don't remember seeing that in the product description and it looked like metal in the picture. They wall pieces were also a little difficult to get to line up exactly because of their cut (reason for the 4 stars). The directions were easy to follow and the parts necessary to install the shelves were all included except the drill. The shelves are very sturdy and look very classy in our house!

Love this set of shelves. I wished they came in black and almost didn't order them but loved the look so much I gave them a shot and ordered them regardless. So if you're debating on the purchase for the same reason go for it because the brown is so dark they pass as black and they are hanging almost directly above a lamp.Do know the silver squiggle is plastic NOT metal but they're still very cool and good looking. .

The shelf looks ok from the distance but not so much up close. The silver parts are plastic, which is disappointing for the price, and the design is dumb. You have to use these shimmies to hold the boards in but there's no way to hide them. They are ugly and give away the fact that it's plastic. The shelf should be worth about half of what it's being sold for.

This shelving unit was really easy to hang and is really sturdy. The brackets are plastic, but don't look like it and the shelves are solid.

I thought the silver piece were going to be metal and disappointed when I found out they were place with flat silver coke, and not chrome like picture
