To allow for an easy and safe shave, your 3 piece safety razor must be firmly screwed down.The problem is that with most of the die-cast "tops", if you tighten them too much, they can fail over time... (ie the screw post deforms.) a 1mm M5 plastic washer is soft enough to act as a "lock-washer" without having to over-tighten the handle on the screw-post.I was using white washers that I had in my workshop... but they were hard to see on a light-colored sink top or towel. These black washers obviate that prob9.

The items I received do not look like what is pictured. They look like poorly molded items, not quality cut uniform washers. I bought these to use as a finishing washer on a product, they look terrible. They are also more flexible and softer than the ones I was using previously.

Worked excellent for mounting my trolling motor to my boat... Was able to level it by shimming it in every direction. Fit 5/16" bolts well

Needed rubber washes for my case fans (7/32 or whatever they're estimated to be), these came up and figured nylon would work. They are harder than I expected, like a hard plastic.Unfortunately the 3mm I.D. did not fit the case fans, I would go with 5mm I.D. if you want to fit them without any tapering, as I did to fit the case fans. They do work perfectly with M3 size screws though.
