Would this work well on the slide for a meat slicer? Looking for something that won’t bind up and keep it sliding smoothly.

I use it on oven racks where it works well and lasts long. I see no reason why it would not work for your meat slicer, although surely you clean the mschine thoroughy after every use. Note that this has the consistency of wall paste. It looks lumpy, but works great for me.

It tastes wierd, does this expire or need to be refrigerated? Does it stain anyone elses teeth too?

It is NOT for human or anyone else's consumption. I keep mine in a cool place and have not noticed any major degradation of the lubricant. STOP tasting the stuff!!!

How is this product applied for use on telescoping oven rack?

The bottle cap has a built in brush. I brush it on the rack guides. The product looks like drippy white paste glue, it's a bit messy, stinks when you first heat up the oven, but IT WORKS!
