Sizzix, Multi Color, Thinlits Die Set , Crochet by Tim Holtz, 4 Pack, One Size

I used wax paper as a layer in the sandwich when using this die and it cut all of the areas completely and the paper was easy to pop out of the die. The end product did not disappoint. It is a beautiful design and so lacy. I love this die!

There is so much detail in these gorgeous lace dies. They cut perfectly when using the Chrome Precision Base Plate which I highly suggest. Note: these dies are open on the ends so that they can be repeated to get longer diecuts of lace. I found it to be easy to line them up to get the longer pieces. It was also easy to trim the ends to the length I needed. The dies arrived in perfect condition.

The crochet dies cut out beautifully. Because they are very detailed using a precision base plate is a good choice when cutting. Also when running the dies through your cutting machine do so at a slight angle as opposed to straight through to allow the rollers on your machine to pass over with better pressure.The smaller dies measure approximately 5 1/2" while the larger ones are approximately 6 1/8". However, I found that you are not limited to that length. I discovered that while cutting the pattern out I was able to remove, clean out the die and line the end of die back up to the end of the previous piece to continue the cut very well, thus increasing the size of the crochet cutout to accommodate the size I needed for my project, i.e. 7" boarder for my 5" x 7" card format

I tried out each of these dies and they cut crisply and accurately. They are intricate and beautiful. I was a bit anxious that they wouldn't cut out completely or that I would have to spend a lot of time punching out the little pieces. I have a project that will require me to punch out 70 of these and they are perfect.

It's BEAUTIFUL... when I run it through the machine 18 times. Even then, it's still kind of a hassle to remove all of the leftovers - a sharp blade of some kind nearby is very helpful. So.. if you're willing to work for it, it's great. Otherwise, probably just buy a different die. It really should produce a higher quality cut.

Can not beat Sizzix dies.

It doesn't get any better than that. These dies are absolutely perfect for making pieces to include in clusters for embellishments AND of course, card making for borders, etc. I'm a junk journal and to decorate with little bits of lace and trims in paper as well as fabric makes me smile. THESE ARE keepers!!

I love Sizzix dies and because I make vintage journals I love using lace and dolly type dies but they aren't as readily available as you would think. I love the two designs in a smaller and larger size. It cuts very easily and you can make a piece longer then the die itself. 5 stars to Sizzix and Tim Holtz I love these!
