Lasko 12" Twist-Top™ 3-Speed Portable Tower Table Fan Widespread Oscillation for Bedroom, Office, Black, 4911

This lasko fan is great. I already have one in my bedroom, and it works so well in warm, stuffy weather I thought to get another for the Livingroom. So glad I did, it's a small 12" size but very portable to sit anywhere you need it and it provides a good amount of powerful air that circulates with the oscillating body of it. No installation needed, it's all put together with a nice 6' cord attached. I want to save on my electric bill here in CA, and this is a wonderful value for a small price, you won't be disappointed.

Have had this fan in my cube at work for two months, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Works great, just what I was looking for. Its not silent, even on the lowest fan setting, but it is quiet, definitely not too loud for a quiet office setting. No squeals or rattles, works great. Blows a lot of air, even on the lowest setting. Nice feature is being able to direct the two vent outputs independently, so I usually have one aimed at me and the other away from me, else its too much airflow. Oscillating feature works fine, but I rarely use it. Do note the product is slightly different than pictured. The vents are a gray color, not matching black, and the buttons are a translucent plastic with opaque diagrams on them, the complete opposite of pictured. Nothing functionally wrong, just visually different than pictured, but it doesn't bother me. Its a fan, and it works.

Very quiet but efficient. Puts lots of air out, rotates, 3 speeds. Have purchased 2 and move where ever I need them.

This thing is garbage. I have an existing Lasko E20739 which I have had for several years. It blows out a nice blast of air but like anything else, over time it has gotten noisy due to normal wear and tear. I wanted to replace it just for the noise as I don't want to start any cubicle wars. I ordered the 4911 a couple of days ago and received it a couple minutes ago. Plugged it in and can barely feel anything coming out of it. To confirm it is not just my imagination, I turned on my old fan which is standing beside it and could immediately tell the difference. Turned off the new fan and let just the old one run. Yup, still a nice blast of air. Considering how quiet the new one is supposed to be, I think for the amount of air it puts out it is not quiet at all. On top of all this, when I need to switch between settings on my old fan, I just reached out and hit the button. With the new fan I have to chase it around the desk to push the button. This is a two-handed operation: one to hold the fan and the other to push the button. I am returning this as soon as I write the review. Pros: Nice and small, less of a footprint than my existing fan. Cons: Little airflow Too noisy for the airflow generated. The whole chasing around my desk thing.

Perfect stream of air with the divided fans, excellent choice

My little desk fan that I'd had for 11 yrs. finally bit the dust and I needed to replace it. I really liked my other fan so finding a replacement hasn't been easy. I've gone to several stores but none of them really had what I wanted so I decided to shop online to try to find one so I go to my favorite store, Amazon, and I found the perfect replacement. This little fan is amazing. The airflow is really nice on every setting. The high setting isn't so powerful so as to blow everything off your desk yet strong enough to cool one down quickly. I really love the twist feature which makes it like having two fans in one. My husband and I both do a lot on our computers and so our desks sit back to back so we can look at each other while we are on the computer. With the twist function I have airflow on me and he has airflow on him too! When I set it to oscillate it's even more amazing. I really love this little fan! It takes up very little room (less space than my old fan even) and is easy to turn on, set to oscillate and twist. The price was fantastic and the shipping was free! Does it get any better than all that? I don't think it does! I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I am glad I found this fan. I recommend this anyone looking for a nice desk fan, this one is the one!

I really liked this fan and was sad to see it die. I bought it last June.. so it only lasted 1 year. I kept it on my night stand next to my bed. I had a bit of trouble with it on and off. As air stream strength goes it worked really well once I got used to the noise. Because I live in Arizona, dust is kind of an issue with all electronics. I would vacuum my fan every month. I even had my husband take it out to the garage and blow it out with his air compressor a few times. About 8 months of continuous use it started to have issues. It sounded like one of the blades was off kilter and the fan only moved when we cleaned it. I rarely used the oscillating feature on this fan. When it got really noisy.. enough to keep me from falling asleep, or if it woke me up I would just turn it off. One day last month when I attempted to turn it back on, it sounded like it turned on but no longer pushed any air through and that was it. I have had other larger versions of lasko fans and they just don't seem to last. I have vornado flippi fans that are still going strong after 5 years so I can't recommend this product.

Very disappointing. Bulky, noisy and not much air movement. Really not worth buying.

No hace nada de ruido, genera suficiente aire y lo mejor es que es giratorio. No pesa, el cable de alimentación es suficientemente largo y lo puedes mover fácilmente para donde sea.
