Very Well Made Class Act - Really Does Hold 30 Albums
Every once in a while I ask myself, should I really hold on to my vinyl albums? They are taking up a lot of bookshelf space. Space I could use to hold a double-stack of books. These Crosley carriers have answered my question. I can clear the bookcase and still keep my albums. And what a class way to do it. Seriously, the only improvement I would make to these carriers is to have a slot on the front or the top for a removable label. Will this carrier hold the Christmas albums or the A-C albums or maybe the Soundtrack collection? It would help to have a spot for a removable label, so you can change the label if needed. The product description states that each carrier can hold 30 albums. That is correct. The picture attached shows a carrier with 27 albums, including a couple double-albums. You can see that this still has room to thumb through the albums. For the best "thumbing", I think 25 albums per carrier works nicely. For full-bore storage, however, you can fit in more.I don't think I'd want a carrier that could hold more albums. This filled carrier is heavy enough as it is. When closed, the case feels sturdy as it is carried by the attached handle. Said handle, incidentally, isn't a flimsy plastic handle, but a real handle for a real load, though I have to admit I haven't been swinging a carrier around to see how it holds up.I like the flip-off lid. You have to be careful to line up the back hinges before you lock the front, but that isn't difficult.Definitely 4.6 stars, rounded up to 5.Happy Reader

Very nice case
This seems to be a very nice vinyl record case. Only just arrived yesterday, so I have not seen how it stands the test of time. As I understand the outside is vinyl, and I read a review that said the vinyl peeled. It's possible. The inside of my lid seems a little ripply in places, but not bad. Im not really worried about that. Now, another complaint I've heard a lot is that the lid falls off when you open it. This is true. And it's supposed to be that way. Very convenient in my opinion. You just need to be aware when opening it. You can remove the lid, which gets it out of the way in a sense. I see nothing wrong with this whatsoever. I prefer it. Now, there is a handle on the top, but I probably won't use it as it seems like a lot of weight to put on the lid. Records are not light. You can use the handle, but the box is also small enough to be carried easily with two hands. Your preference, of course. The gist is I love this case. It looks great, and fits records very nicely. I would definitely buy another one if my record supply goes up enough. So I think you'll like it. Buy it!!

I don’t write reviews, however....
This gear is the sh*t. Bought The Havana/tweed version because I didn’t want a Fab Four tribute or leather like container. Hemmed and Hawed due to the price, but I travel all over Chicago some days, making the rounds of the vinyl establishments and felt it was a worthwhile investment. Went around the North Side today, and found about six LPs. The box did it’s job. No bent corners on the jackets, and the LPs while not secured from moving front to back (my fault should have stuffed some newspaper inside) were in same shape as when purchased. I have only one minor criticism: The box is a bit heavy, even when empty. A minor issue, when I feel secure that it will protect the precious cargo. As they might say in a Stereophile review: “Highly recommended”. Oh and for what it’s worth, it holds MoFi Miles Davis “Kind of Blue” box set without size being an issue.

Solid case worth storing your collection!
Very nice case. This is quite solid and should offer great protection against records while looking nice. I've got about 20 or so vinyls, several of which are multi-record albums, so they have larger cases. They fit nicely with no problems, and plenty of room to spare. This is sized for 33s (if not obvious). The walls of the case are decently thick, and this thing is heavy for sure, which gives confidence in build quality. The rubber corner stoppers are also nice and prevent it from sliding around. My two notes I think worth making (1) there is a slight odor put off by the case. It is not terrible, but does exist. It has faded mostly since I've had this for a little bit of time, but just want to throw it out there. (2) The lid is detachable. When I first found this out I thought I broke it! But the hinges are open so you can remove the top entirely if you'd like. This can be easier for accessing and flipping through the albums, though not seemingly necessary for the design. Not a problem, just be careful as I have accidentally detached it a couple times when opening quicker.

Records fit as they should
I love this box! I am so happy that I found it! I have a record player and was taking my records in a bag to my campings. Now the records are safe and in a very sturdy, groovy box.It carries the right amount of records. I am transporting 20 to 25 at a time, so I can flip them without taking them out of the box. Important to understand that the lid is removable, as it should be, so it is more comfortable to you to manipulate your records. Other boxes are smaller and the record sleeves don't fit correctly. This is the one!Perfect present for somebody who already have a portable record player!Take it to camping, a cabin, a vacation, it is just great! My husband and I love it!
