Bought to cover up some surface rust
Rather than go out and pay for brand new V&H slip on's over some minor surface rust, I looked around and located these. And they did the trick. Easy five minute installation, look good and do all I need them to do. Well worth the money even if not used as a heat barrier, rather for something like what I used them for.

Not for me
I have a Freedom exhaust on my Yamaha Stryker that gets my right calf hot. I purchased this heat shield to get some heat off of my leg.First I may not have minded this shield as much if I had spray painted the metal pipe wrap black the two of them stand out against my black exhaust. Second I think I need a solid shield to really block the heat off my leg.The shield looked pretty well-made.

As shown.
Exactly as shown in the pic. Except the chrome is better quality than expected.

Great tip
Put some grease/lube on the clamp screws before you attempt to tighten. Makes a huge difference!
