What is the string in the package for?

That is for guitars that don't have the top knob to hook the end onto. My son's acoustic guitar only had one knob (at the bottom of the guitar) so we tied the string to the strap and tied the strap above the first fret, under the strings.

Will this strap fit acoustic guitar strap button with jack? These are a bit larger than a standard strap button.

It locks in place very well for my Epiphone. I've never had it slip once.

Is the lock clip plastic or metal? I'm a little concerned about it breaking.

The lock clip is plastic, but the quality is good.

cheap safe ty for your guitar.

Cheapest locking type strap for guitar.Amazon only let you buy three at a time though ,so you have to make numerous orders if you have a lot of guitars.Seem s good value and they seem durable, we will see.

Didn't realise that the clip was hard plastic....on a strat, telly or lp it would be ok but not for an sg and definitely not for an acoustic.. think before you buy.
