It's a scam.

False advertising! The picture shows a bass recorder, and the reviews mention a bass recorder. What was sent was an alto. What a scam! Now I have a bunch of bass recorder music that I also bought and nothing to play it on. Return.

After reading reviews I have checked model # with manufacturer. It is NOT A BASS RECORDER. It is a tenor

Solid and secure sound

I really like this recorder. It produces a good solid tone right away. It is easy to play and the tone just goes on and on.I had a little trouble at first playing the lowest notes, but that is normal. It's part of getting accustomed to a new flute. The process goes faster when I spend time on long tones, just playing, for example C# and then C natural, over and over. Then D & C#, etc. Or start at F and descend by going from F to E over and over, then E to E flat over & over. And so on down to the bottom of the register.The practice of scales leads to practicing the higher notes and trains me in the right way to get the fluidity going, playing any note within the range of the instrument.
