exactly as advertised, works great
exactly as advertised, works great. Complete kit ready to install, if you’re looking to for a way to periodically fill your auto top off fresh water system this is a good setup. For best efficiency you want to run your RODI for a long time, instead of short bursts. Let the ATO tank get down to 1/4 full then turn on your RO/DI and walk away. This gives peace of mind your ATO tank won’t over flow. When its done turn off the RO/DI feed.

Works exactly as planned
I use this in combination with an RO system and 100-gallon stock tank as a water reservoir for my aquariums when I need to do a water change. This float valve shuts off the RO system when the stock tank is full. This set is nice because it has everything I needed to have the auto-shutoff system and the components seem solid. Very pleased with the outcome.

Works great if you get all the pieces
This product works great, if you get all of the pieces. I say this because I did not realize I did not have all of the pieces for this until it was all hooked up and water was all over my kitchen floor. The product itself did what it was supposed to do. When the water level reached the configured cut off level the water stopped flowing into the reservoir. As soon as this happened the hose shot out of the float bulk head connection. It seems m package arrived with a couple of pieces missing as evidenced from the product picture. It was missing the little blue clip that locks the hose in and it looks like there was another piece that the blue clip would actually attach to. Other than that, I highly recommend this product.

Hands down #1 thing anybody in reefing should have...
Ok so after about 7-8 years of reefing and always using an rodi system I've never had an auto shutoff, I've had floats that would stop the water and it would just keep going through the waste line down the drain. It turn I was changing filters more frequently. Also I know I'm not the only reefing who has flooded a room or rooms on their house due to forgetting your rodi is on 😂 it's not if your going to it's when your going to! Needless to say this float and shutoff are honestly top quality for your rodi system. It fills my bin up once the float shuts fully it builds pressure into a diaphragm inside of the shutoff which closes the feed line into your rodi. So no more just wasting filters and good water. It's cut my water bill down, buying less filters less frequently, 100% worth the money you'll spend because within 6 months you will be saving the same amount if not more on wasted water alone not including buying more filters. Again this is a hands down must in my opinion for reefing or anything your using an rodi system for to fill up a container that you may forget. No more overflowing or wasting water. Will be using these from now on as long as I use an rodi system.
