You won't find anything comparable in this price range. The price is not a reflection of the quality. It is heavy enough that you won't need to worry about it tipping over while you work. The sponge holder in the base is a good feature too.No more holding solder with my teeth!HINT: If you don't have this permanently secured: When working on a smooth surface put down some masking tape folded inside out (both sides sticky) then stick the helping hands to it. This prevents them from sliding around. When you're done just peal up the tape and you're good to go.

When I ordered this item, I thought wow this can be a difference maker. However, the magnifier is weak so there's a visibility issue here of trying to see your object. Since it's a 3rd party product, meaning no free returns, it simply was not worth paying for the shipping costs to return this. So I'm stuck with this terrible product that just takes up space in my drawers. Next time I drive over a bridge, I'm throwing this thing into the water where it belongs.

Was initially shocked at the small size of this unit, but came to realize that this is among those great things that come in small packages. Much heavier than anticipated and I have relied upon this little gizmo more than imagined! I anticipate many years of active service from this compact piece of well made ingenuity. Simple, Strong and Superb Assistant Tool, that can't be beat at its cost.

its a three inch magnifying glass. extremely sturdy and well made. if you ever have to rebuild a connector for say an abs sensor than this is the one you want. trust. i have gone through about a dozen of these and this is most definitely the best one i have ever owned.

The large magnifier is better than I expected and the soldering iron rest is great. It has a solid heavy base to it which will keep it in place when working on projects. The adjustability of it is awesome. A must have for jewelry or craft projects. Well worth the price.

I had seen many products like this that were not very stable even with minimal weight. This base is very sturdy and is able to support a decent amount of weight without tipping over. I would recommend this product for those looking for a stable helping hand!

This is a great tool. When some dainty job comes up, I'm always ecstatic when I remember I have this. It's well-constructed, with suitably heavy construction.

Works well, lots of adjustment for clips. It could've came with a sponge and a light would have been nice. Great for it's price though
