Q: Can you wash these using dishwasher?

Thank you for reaching out! Made of stainless steel with copper plating, the set is best cleaned by hand with a gentle dish soap and warm water. To keep the gorgeous sheen please do not use abrasive cloths and strong chemical cleaners.

Q: Does the copper have an additional clear coating, i.e. to prevent patina/rust?

Crafted of strong stainless steel with a copper-plated finish, each set is corrosion and rust resistant. To prevent the cups or spoons from looking weathered or tarnishing please dry thoroughly after washing by hand and do not leave to air dry. With proper care, these are made to last for years to come.

Q: Does the copper color fade after a while?

I have not seen them fade, although I hand wash them.
