This has that iconic Moonster feel of quality. The leather smells amazing, feels lovely and smooth. The embossing of the Tree on the cover is very clear. The pages are proper old style paper.. Almost don’t want to give it as the gift it was bought for (but of course will!)Have paired it with some equally nice art pencils.My only teeny annoyance is I thought I’d ordered the 8x6 (when in fact was the 7x5) but that’s an error on my part.This would make a wonderful gift for boy or girl, young or old equally.Definitely a gift I’d be happy to receive.Easy 5* for this journal/sketchbook.

I use this book for my wiccan book of shadows and having such a beautiful book to work in helps me to connect with my craft. I love it, and for the price i really believe its the best book of its kind around. the tree inlay is so cool and the craftmanship is perfect. Comes with a free earphone tidier.There is some leather threads on the book from when it was made but they can be removed by just blowing.I would really highly recommend this as a gift or for your own grimoire. :)

Perfection in beauty and crafted with love
This is the most beautiful journal I have seen. It is exquisitely made. And the workmanship is stunning. The leather is soft and beautiful to touch. The binding is stunning. The paper is textured and again beautiful to touch. I have written journals all my life. I am a writer, preferring an ink pen. I am 60 years old and this is the most beautiful book.

This book was purchased for a very special reason as a medical retirement gift for a member of staff. Hundreds of teachers, admin staff and students signed it and so many said how lovely the book was. Felt pens were used and didn’t sleep though the lovely quality paper, little Polaroid pictures were stuck in and the pages were sturdy enough for this too. It’s a beautiful book, lovely journal for example.

Beautiful paper and binding, real home made feel. Love how you can tie it round the middle. Perfect for sketching, writing etc.I might have chosen one with fewer pages and it is a little thicker than I expected,but some people might like the size.

Excellent quality.
I’m very happy with this journal/sketchbook. Love the Tree of Life design on soft brown genuine leather cover. Paper quality looks/feels good too although I haven’t checked it yet for bleed-through. It’s definitely giftable and comes in a protective cloth bag. Great value for the price.
