Value for money. Environment friendly.
Amazon, as usual, was quick in shipping and delivering the product to me in perfect condition. Pros: 1. Power efficiency. It's a known fact that LEDs are more power efficient than CFLs. However, Eveready claims that it's LED lamps are the most efficient (100Lm/watt) when compared to the LED lamps from the competing brands. It's light output is comparable to 15W CFL. Perfectly suitable for small rooms like bathrooms. 2. Direct drop-in replacement. The lamp has B22D base. So it directly plugs into existing bulb socket, no need to do any changes to the electrical setup. 3. Reasonably priced. In fact, It was the cheapest (well known)branded 5W LED lamp on amazon at the time of writing this review. 4. The product feels sturdy and durable. Cons: None. Have not used it much so far. Note: I looked at the product packaging box for information about where the product was manufactured. I could not find it. It's just mentioned that imported by Eveready. Most probably, it's a made in China product. It's still better than unknown brand products. I expect Eveready to have done strict quality control so that the product matches their quality standards and is worthy of being branded as Eveready. Also I'm sure, given better efficiency claims of Eveready, these are not just generic China LED bulbs branded as Eveready. I could not find warranty mentioned on the box. LED bulbs are a bit costlier compared to CFLs. However, given their low power consumption and long life, the cost is recovered. Above anything else, we should be doing our bit in reducing carbon footprint and environment pollution even if it means paying a bit more for the products we use. As LED lamps consume less power, last longer(less contribution to e-waste) and don't contain any toxic material, we all should start using these.

Hope this helps !!
NA for this bulb as it has a PF of 0.9 but just an information to clear any confusion. [After a reviewer claimed that as this eveready LED has 0.5 PF and hence we will be charged double of the mentioned wattage but a couple other reviews contradicted him. Hence I googled this a bit and this is the best answer I got. Hope it helps others who were as confused as me !! โPower factor is the ratio between real power and apparent power. Real power is how much power the load is actually using and apparent power is the product of how much current is flowing and the Voltage. Real power is measured in Watts, and apparent power is measured in Volt Amps (VA). If you think back to when you learned about electricity fundamentals, you might remember that current (Amps) times Voltage equals Watts. This is true for a direct current system and it is also true for an alternating current system with a power factor of 1.0. An old fashioned incandescent light bulb, due to being a purely resistive load, has a power factor of 1.0. However, many electrical devices including LED and CFL light bulbs have power factors less than 1.0. What this means is that while they might be rated at 13 Watts real power, they will draw more current than you would suspect. Assuming a 120V system, 13 Watts should require approximately .11 Amps (120V*.11A = ~13W). In reality, a typical LED light bulb has a power factor of .6 (and as low as .2 or less!). This means that the apparent power of the bulb is more like ~22VA (13Watt/.6 power factor). Remembering that apparent power is current * volts you can find that with a .6 power factor this bulb is using ~.18 Amps. The good news is that residential power meters typically measure real power and not apparent powerโฆfor now. This means that you are charged by the kWh and not Volt Amp hour. However, utilities are now beginning to install โsmart metersโ that are capable of measuring your homeโs overall power factor (the average power factor of all connected loads) and charging you accordingly. For now, it seems like you are in the clear and you can trust the numbers printed on your bulbโs packaging.โ] Ordered thus product for 274/- & 215/- for 7w & 5w respectively. This is my first experience with LED bulbs and following are me observations Pros: - Biggest plus is price factor. Cheapest amongst reputed brands. - 100 Lumens/watt is excellent. Light is bright enough and is sufficient. - In a small room there is no observable difference between 7w & 5w but in a bigger room one can notice the extra 2w. - Cool day light gives a nice shade but donโt know if it is better or worse than other brands having same shade. But am happy with this. - B22 base hence no modifications required. - I was using 15w CFL and this 5w certainly gives equivalent brightness.7w a bit more. Cons: - On the site it is mentioned that it offers 30months warranty from packaging or 24 months from invoice date whichever is lower but there is no warranty card or any mention on the package. So I donโt know what to do if the bulb fails in warranty period. Amazon should clearly mention this in the product page. (One star reduction for that) VERDICT โ LEDs are the future. They are getting cheaper. They last longer, more power efficient. Time to replace the CFLs. PS โ Attaching a few pictures of markings.

Very natural colour rendition.
This is without any doubt the best among the 3, 5 and 7 watt versions from the company. The 3 and 7 watt version which I bought along with this has a bluish tint which makes the surrounding take on a blue hue. The 7 watt version is not much brighter than the 5 watt version. Go for the 5 watt version and multiples of it to add more light to your room. The above review is for the 6000kelvin bulbs. Below is the review for the Pearl White 4000Kelvin bulbs of which I bought 3 unit costing Rs209 for each unit on the 16th of August and today is the 21st august 2015. Without doubt this has got to be the best investment I have made for lighting products from India as far as brightness and colour rendition is concerned. It is the same colour as the afternoon 2 to 3pm sunlight. This bulb beats all other bulbs thorough and also the 5 watt 6000kelvin Eveready bulb too. I have bought too many iterations of many brands but this Pearl White 5 watt Eveready stands out from the rest in every aspect except for the Cree 10 watt xml2u2 led which you can procure from abroad, that is in a different league altogether but it costs three times this and is just not worth it.

Very good output. Not sure if this a good price for a bulb ( I am not talking about amazon, i am talking about LED bulbs in general). I was slightly confused, whether I should keep CFLs for now, and then wait for the prices to go down and then switch over to LEDs or should switch over right away, which one will be cost effective :). I anyways started switching over to LEDs because I will reduce my consumption of electricity and bills and also, contribute at least a bit to making the world more green.. Pros 5WLED gives almost the same as a 60W Incandescent lamp's light output. Life: If what they claim is true, it is going to give light for 15000 hours. Cons More focused light. Sometimes might need a diffuser. Price, i believe prices will go down, as the technology grows. but at present it costs at least 20 times compared to an incandescent lamp and at least twice that of a CFL. Life, since the bulbs are new in the market, no one really knows, if it will give light for 15000 hours.

Eveready LED bulbs are the brightest among all major brands!
I purchased the Eveready LED Bulb among all as the best part about this brand is that it gives out 100 lumens light per watt. This is the best efficiency it gives among all the competitiors and even other so called bigger brands like Philips, Syska etc. No wonder, they label it as 'brightest LED Bulb'.. which is not wrong at all. I recommend anyone to go for this brand as the light quality and even the light colour (as per CRI) seems a pure, milky white as compared to cheap chinese LED bulbs which give out blueish tint light and not at all bright with same wattage. Though this also might have been imported from China, but Eveready must have kept strict specifications which makes this a good product. The power savings would be really good even with a power factor of 0.5. Because I replaced my 14W / 15W CFL with this 5 W LED Bulb and the light is as good.. or slightly even brighter than CFL. And with advantages like instant start, same glow in all weather etc. Plus, the CFL of 15W also had a power factor of 0.5% and this 5W LED also has power factor of 0.5%, which means the savings in power bills will be genuine. As for the long life of 10 to 15 years, only time will tell. But looking at build quality and LED technology, I believe it shall last long.
