Kenwood 500W 2 Channels Dual Performance Standard Series Stereo Power Car Amplifier with Gravity Magnet Phone Holder Bundle

I ordered this amp to power a 12inch 1300 watt max sub woofer. I was worried at first that this amp would be low on watts and not power it or short out. However I received this small amp and easily installed it in my car and when I turned it on I was shocked from the output. This had plenty of power and does not distort the sub at all and only gets warm after high use but does not overheat or cut out. I am very pleased with this purchase you cannot beat the quality and power for the low price. I received this amp very quickly I recommend it to anyone looking for for a powerful amp to give your car just the right amount of bass.

tHIS AMP WORKS VERY WELL.I thought it might be too small to run a sub,but i read the other reviews and everybody seem to really like it.I am running it in bridged mode to power a single sub in a truck.The amp has more than enough for this,it hits good with power to spare.It is an excellent value for the money.

Product arrived promptly as promised. Not sure of quality / performance as they are not installed yet but I have high expectations having used Kenwood amps for decades.Only "issue"... can't register the product on Kenwoods website as this might be a "gray market" model not offered on the U.S.3/8/21 Confirmed today that these are "gray market" and not sold in the U.S. Kenwood stated that there is "no warranty service available on this product in the U.S."Update 10/3/22...Now have the interior back in place with all new wiring, amp rack and sub enclosure. I have this amplifier running a pair of Polk Audio DB693 (3 way 6'x9') speakers. Amplifier is set full range with low pass filter off. Hz tuning through the deck is set at 100hz to the speakers. The sound quality is as I expected from Kenwood; precise reproduction with definitive highs and appropriate bass & mids.This amp is paired with the following:Kenwood Excelon KDC-x705 deckKenwood KAC-PS704ex 4 channel (running as 3 channel) amp (Reviewed elsewhere on Amazon). "A" channel powering a pair of Polk DB651 6.5" coaxials. "B" channel bridged to an 8" Polk DB+ subwoofer in a sealed enclosure that also incorporates an amp rack.This KAC-PS702ex powering a pair of Polk DB693 6"x9" 3 way speakers.I have confirmed that this is a "gray market" amplifier and looking at the Kenwood Europe website, this series (including the 4/3/2 channel version also used) are discontinued.Regardless, I highly recommend this amp for not only excellent sound quality but at a price point that is hard to beat.

Minutes to install and start listening to great sound again, I have this amp hooked up in a small car, if you don't mind your vehicle rattling all over then get this amp, it is small, light weight, and most important it's powerful, and economical. I wasn't sure about the quality in such a great priced amp but what a surprise!BRAND NEW! I bought it. Wired it up correctly where I had my previous amp. It did not work or power on. It also is not the same amp or model that they show in the picture, although it was a 500 w amp.Called customer support and they told me that this amp is not offered in the US and that there is no warranty on it. Luckily got my money back from Amazon.

I bought this amp to power a 10" Kicker Sub from a Kenwood head unit with 6Amp preouts. I can say that the amp performs perfectly, judging by the sound my sub's putting out. The internal bridging is awesome because it made the installation an extra step shorter. Installation and wiring were incredibly easy and it came with everything you need. Good product so far and shipping was very fast.

My son and I installed this amp along with a 8" polk sub in his truck and he loves it. He has a kenwood head unit with ipod/phone usb control and this amp drives the sub very well. He is 18 and all his friends are amazed at how tight the sub sound quality is compared to their "1000" watt "ha" amps and ported or bandpass 12's . I built a sealed box for the polk and the amp drives it very loud low and tight. Clean no muddiness as long as the source material is clean, many times low quality MP3's will sound very muddy and even a great system cant fix that.
