PPD 100 Sheets 5x7 Photo Paper Pearl Luster Satin Inkjet

I decided to try this paper after using a quite expensive brand for quite some time. Considering the low price I did not expect a great deal but the results were a major surprise. I've asked friends to look at the same picture printed on my previous brand and on PPD. Most couldn't tell the difference and one actually thought the PPD version was better! The paper, at a weight of 280gsm, is more than acceptable for my use. There were no paper jams through my Epson printer and as previously stated, the photo quality is very good....in fact I'm going to order A4 size with confidence.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this paper is for the price. I often swap photos out around the house and this paper is perfectly adequate for these purposes, though I wouldnt use it for really important pics which I want to last It's capable of vibrant colours and reasonably good contrast. The semi-gloss finish is attractive and less reflective than full gloss but retains the effect of sharpness. The product description mentions that ICC profiles are available for this paper but I could find no mention of these on the company's website All in all a great budget paper

My favourite paper to use for my photos

I have a Canon G550 ink tank printer. This paper works very well with the printer. Colours are vibrant and accurate. Very pleased with the results.

Excellent quality… would recommend it

I just printed a test photo on my HP inkjet printer using the settings for HP Premium Photo paper. The result is excellent. Fine detail is better - I can see fine blond hair detail that is not visible on HP paper. Dark saturated colors have printed slightly darker than HP paper. The image I used was saved with profile sRGB. I have a calibrated color monitor. The skin tones on this paper very closely match what I see on my monitor whereas on HP paper the skin is slightly less saturated and has a pink bias. Altogether very satisfied, and good value compared to Kodak and HP papers.

I find this paper is no different than canon pro luster on my canon pro 10 printer. I have printed using plus glossy then using the pro luster on same photo with exactly same results. And I use Precision color inks, couldn't sit here and print for hours if using canon ink.

The price was very good for 100 sheets of high- quality photo paper. One gripe (and it’s a small one) is there are no markings to indicate the back of the sheets. Not a big deal, as you can see and feel which side is which, but still a small failing. There is also no enclosed box to keep the paper in a dark place. It is just inside a plastic wrapper.

Perfect weight and print quality. Very nice luster finish. The product is excellent. Packaging is absolute trash. Cheap plastic bag tears open in shipping. Photo paper spills out into Amazon box. A few of the sheets were bent on the corners. Still a good choice.
