measured the top of my board 10" at norrowest, 18 at widest 51" long. Will this pad fit?

It fits our ironing board, which is 49" long by 18" wide. It stays at 18" for 35" and then tapers away for the last 14". The cover fits it well. I think it would handle your extra 2"
