Put the whole thing into another container. I'd use glass, calcium chloride is like salt but much more powerful. It would probably eat through metal. Use a glass or Pyrex mixing bowl or something.

Is this good for a 32 foot fifth wheel camper?

I am not an engineer in these matters but I would suggest that you start by putting one canister in a location that you suspect is humid and see how quickly it fills with water. There are many variables such as: Is the area an enclosed closet, bathroom etc. Is the canister located in the middle of the room etc. etc. My best suggestion is that you start with one canister located where you suspect or smell musty odors and add more canisters in other locations. I swear by this product from experience and practice. Hope it helps.
