what are the dimensions? h- l-w?

The picture does not give you an idea of the size. Think big for all the ES line of speakers as the center is no exception with two 5 1/2" woofers and 2 tweeters meaning it's big. The dimensions are depth=10", height=7" and width = 18 3/4" and weighs in at 17 lbs. it also has a bass reflex port so if it's in a shelf, make sure it's vibration proof!

Did they give the dimensions of this center speaker?

The dimensions are listed in the product information

Here is a newby question: i just bought the jbl es150pbk 300-watt powered 10-inch subwoofer and i don't see any place for speaker wires. so if i were

I have the Es 150. You use a digital audio cable. You dont use speaker wires.

I am wondering what kind of connection this speaker has. Is it 1/4" plug? Is it the speaker wire that you twist around? I can't find a picture. Thx!!

Most speakers in the market use wires. The 1/4 plug are mainly used for commercial use.
