Men Steampunk Vintage Jacket Halloween Costume Retro Gothic Victorian Frock Coat Uniform

I really like this Jacket. The material is not too thick or thin. I found it to be very comfortable to wear. The buttonholes are non functional, but not a deal breaker for this price. Normally you probably wouldn't button a Jacket like this anyway. I said it "Fit as Expected", but that is only because I ordered 2 sizes up from my normal size because of the advice I had read of other reviewers. I am 5'7 and around 175 and would normally order a Large. I ordered a XX-Large/2X and it fit me perfect. If the buttonholes were functional, I would be able to button it closed. I know ordering 2 sizes up sounds extreme, but obviously this jacket runs very small. I took the advice of other reviewers and I am very pleased with what I got and didn't have to return it.

The product quality is perfect for the price. It doesnt look cheap at all. If someone told me they paid $100 for this coat I would say thats a fair price based on how good it looks. The only issue is it does run very small. I ordered a 4x and it fits me perfectly when I normally wear a 2x. So just order 2 sizes larger and you should be very satisfied.

Great jacket! I read into the reviews too much and sized up too far. I'm 5'11 and around 200 pounds. Based on what I found in the reviews or ordered a 3xl. It fit me like a curtain. For my athletic build I probabaly should have gone with an Xl or perhaps a 2x. I had to return and didn't get to use it but I was really impressed with the look and feel. It did feel thin, wouldnt be something meant to keep you warm. While I no longer have a need since the event passed. I would definitely consider a repurchase. Only giving four stars due to the sizing interpretation.

This coat is so very well made, it’s a very stunning item but unfortunately it did not fit my husband.. He is not a big individual either.. He generally wears a medium in coats & I ordered him a size 1 XL.. He is 5’10 & 155 lbs, medium frame.. I always read the reviews, and sized up (2) full sizes, only to have to return this beautiful coat & will perhaps reconsider ordering him the 2 XXL.. My only dilemma however is that while looking at the sizing charts, it’s not much of a size difference, a mere fraction in upping for their largest size.. My reason for writing such a lengthy review here, is to the ladies who are looking to purchase such a lovely quality coat for themselves, this 1 XL fit me HaHa almost perfectly! A touch too large but I did not take the time to accentuate my clothing for the fit of myself.. Although confused while reading many other reviews, some individuals have no issue with the size, some have issues with the size, unfortunately it honestly just depends upon the person.. To summarize, I would highly recommend to size-up “GENTLEMAN” by at least (2) sizes here.. And for the lovely “LADIES” I would recommend staying within your current size, based upon my opinion ONLY.. I HOPE MY REVIEW WILL HELP BOTH MEN & WOMEN MAKE THE BEST DECISION, AS I UNDERSTAND IT CAN BE A BIT FRUSTRATING.. I am not very tall, ( 5’3 - 132 lbs ) the coat is right at the base of both knees, it does not button ( FYI ) but both seems touch in the front, ( it overlaps on me too in the front ) there are no pockets, just simple designs which for this price, it’s still such a great buy.. The sleeves do cover my hands partially also.. But Wowwwwww the quality of this coat is absolutely superior! Beautiful material design, the floral inlays are noticeably brilliant! I have shopped literally hundreds & hundreds of seller stores, both online & in person, I have not come across a more durable & high quality coat such as this one in eons seriously! The last time I found something so extremely beautiful was while thrifting! Those of you who thrift know exactly what my meaning here is too.. Those wonderful little treasures that we find when we are not even looking! Good luck customers! The coat really is an extraordinarily majestic item!

Overall this thing is workable. It is made from extremely thin floppy material. My gf said it looks and feels like a bathrobe, if that gives you an idea. I am 5'11" 220 pounds of a slightly chunky but solid muscular build. I normally wear large shirts and XL pants. After reading reviews I went with 2XL. It is JUST too small. Standing there it is fine, but it limits my movement too much. If it were a better cut or had ANY stretch to it, it would have been great. But with the slender cut and zero stretch, it won't work. BUT, the fabric looks cool and the two pockets ARE real. So....I am exchanging it for a 3XL and making it work. Because it is still the best vampire/pirate jacket I have found. It is better than the $130 "Dracula Clothing" version. Update: the 3XL fits fine except for the waist. If you don't move it is fine, but there is zero give to the fabric, so if you move too much it is still too tight. But I am keeping the 3XL. I might cut the waist/chest area and sew in stretch panels to make it work better.

Honestly expected costume quality, but this jacket is very nicely made for the price. True to fit size. After Halloween I'm stealing this jacket from my husband for my own closet!

Be very aware the sizing of this jacket is completely out of whack. I am 6'3" and 265lbs. I ordered a 4XL based on reviews that suggested get a size larger. My suit jacket is 50 in the chest and it fits me fine. This "4XL" was tight on me. I could barely get my arms through the sleeves with a shirt on. I thought it was going to rip in the shoulders when i put it on it was so tight. On top of everything. It was supposed to be next day shipping and arrived two days later. Now I do not have time to get anything else. I would not waste my time. It is a shame because the color and design were very nice. I had to give one star or it will not post. I would give it no stars
