Good Enough for Us
I'm satisfied with this product and have purchased more multiple times. I'm not in love with them, but they're good enough for our purposes. We've always practiced part time elimination communication and at about 12 months I had my son start wearing these sometimes. I couldn't find a smaller size so they were quite big for him, but good enough for modesty. Now at 18 months we're really focusing on potty learning so I try to keep him in training pants all day while at home. These are not very thick (which is probably fine for an almost potty trained older child who just has a little accident) but since I know that if I don't offer the toilet in time or get distracted, my son will pee in these. I put them on two at a time so they're extra thick and that really does the trick for us.My purpose for these is probably different than most people, but maybe some early potty training/EC/Montessori families will understand my point of view.I love how soft they are. I think they just FEEL so nice, much nicer than wearing a diaper. If he has an accident I want my son to know it right away and he does. I also want to know it right away. I prefer the solid blue ones because a wet spot is obvious, it's harder to see with the patterns so I usually just give a quick feel. These are very easy for him to learn to pull up and pull down.If you don't want any puddles on the floor, these are NOT for you. But if you're looking for modesty and to allow your child to stay connected with the potty sensation and cause effect connection, These are great.

Nice starter underwear- low absorption
These are nice starter underwear. My son can move in these and is learning to pull them up and down himself. They are soft and fit well. The only challenge is they don’t actually hold the moisture in the underwear. He is on the smaller side but tends to soil through any time he wets these in the smallest way. We have to change the clothes he is wearing every time. It makes it hard to use these on outings without and extra change of clothes or two

Great For Pee Pee Awareness and Airing Out Tush!
While I'm not actively potty training my 17 month old. He is starting to show interest in his potty and big boy underwear. I have them in his drawer and when he pulls them out and points to putting them on - I put them on. Yes he will pee in them and they will get wet. But he becomes very in tune with when he goes and motions that they are wet. I believe these little experiences and lessons will help pave the way to potty training when he is a little older!I also let my child wear these when he has a mild diaper rash. It helps air out the tush a bit without having to worry about massive pee puddles while he's playing. These are not waterproof. They are regular undies with a thick cloth layer in the middle. Just so you don't expect them to keep clothes dry. But the plus side to that is they are very comfortable and don't crinkle. They are very soft and wash well!

Love Them!
I washed and dried these as soon as I got them and I think they are great quality. They are super soft for my son and I'm happy the elastic is covered (softer around his waist) My son is 2 1/2 & 25 lbs. He is somewhat small and they fit with some room to grow as well. I would say they are true to size. The padding is great! It is a little bit of padding but it can make the difference because it catches just a little more. I wouldn't even expect these to catch a full accident and I don't think anyone else should either. My son is pretty close to being done potty training but sometimes he tells me he has to go pee after he started to and then stopped because he realized he was peeing in his underwear & these are perfect for his stage in potty training. But I think they would work well in any stage of training. I think uderwear training is what sped up my son to being so close to done with it, wish I would have had these in the beginning! Definitely recommended!

really good
I think these were great training underwear they aren't thick enough to expect them to hold in what a cloth diaper would but that's the point of traing underwear so the kids feel pee and realize they need to go in the potty and at the same time as a parent you don't want to have to be picking your kid out of huge puddles after an accident. These have a good amount of padding in the center that it will hold small accidents and your kid can feel they are wet so they know next time they have to go. My son has been able to grow into these so they were a bit big but at first but not loose they were just higher on his waist before. I took a star off because the tag leaves him scratching at it non-stop whenever he wears them, they would be better to have it printed on them but you can just cut them.

Soft and thick without being bulky
Soft and extra lined without being bulky. He can wear under clothes but they will. Catch that first drop while he's running to the potty. (We've just started and I'm a proponent of straight undies, no pull-ups except for bed) . These aren't so absorbing that they won't mess his clothes if he goes all the way, but I didn't want that so these were perfect. If you want that, you need something plastic line or a pull-up. These are just thick undies. My son is 25 months and tall for his age so he wears a 3t in shirts and rompers. I went with the 2t because I wanted them snug but not tight. They are perfect. He is 34 I he's tall and weights 33 pounds. We love them and I'm buying another pack or two. I especially like the classic neutral boy colors. It always seems that everything boys has to have trucks or sports on it! I like that they are just plain for once!

Good training undies
I bought 3T/4T because of reviews saying the 2T were too small. My 2 1/2 year is a little big for his age so I figured we'd use the bigger size. They are big on him but still work. I got Gerber training undies size 2T as a hand me down and was surprised they fit fine. We use both but I'd say you can order the size your kid is wearing. We bought regular undies at the store and the sizing on the back indicated he would use 3t/4T so we got that size and they're perfect. Not surprising since sizes aren't even close to standard. 😉 The added padding has helped a few times but usually if there's an accident it's too much. I'd just buy regular underwear next time since it's a better value.
