The quick release plate works great with larger lenses and lens collars
This compact ball head is smooth to operate. The quick release plate works great with larger lenses and lens collars. Great replacement head for older Slik tripods.

Simple, Durable, and Small Profile
This head locks securely and is easy to adjust. It goes well with my SLIK Pro 780DX tripod. I was looking for a low profile head that was still durable and easy to use when taking panoramic photographs. This fits the bill.

Fast Action Setup for Photos
If you want to setup your tripod fast for photos, the ball is the best. I never take a trip without this tripod attachment.

This is a great ball head
works as it should, smooth and secure. have used it with several camera/lens combos and always produces good pics, great value too.

Works well, but not the best.
I bought this head for my slik tripod. I bought it mainly because it's rated at 5KG.It does need to be locked of pretty right to not slip or move (a very tiny amount, noticeable in long exposures)The locking plate is OK but not fantastic. The little plastic clip which hold back the locking lever has failed, so the locking leaver always springs back to the lock position, making it awkward to take off and replace the plate. The bubble levels are helpful, but sensitive, because the ball head is not damped, its very difficult to align the head straight.Overall though its functional, capable of holding a fair load, It just lacks the bells and whistles of more expensive heads.

Basic but well made
A very simple no frills tripod head, lightweight and sturdy. good ball head and excellent built in spirit levels (2). Just what I expected a perfect for my travel needs.
