Fresh yesterday for wine, mead, melomel, its a higher tolerance than normal reaching up to 18 % by volume, it activates fast and easy, will buy more for future use

Great Results
I made mead with this. The result was the perfect level of sweetness and carmelly flavor for me - roughly at the level of a port. I'm not sure how well it makes dryer batches as I'm fairly new to this, but I'm very pleased with the results I got.

I have only used these for brewing mead, but as far as I can tell they are doing a great job. As I am new at brewing mead, I am not sure how much credit to attribute to the yeast (vs the honey, the fruit, or the process itself), but I have no complaints.

Store refrigerated is the best advice.
I thought this yeast was a lil close to expiration date. After purchasing from my go to vendor this yeast was 9 months better.

Great Yeast for Apple Wine
Apple juice, sugar, and this yeast ... that's all you need for decent apple wine, as crisp as a a grape Chablis. Oh, and time, too ... recommended.
