I just dyed my daughter's hair today. Her hair is dark blonde. We bleached a strip first. Then dyed the bleached strip. Don't forget the vol 10 developer! This permanent color will not work without developer. Mix the developer 1:1 with this hair dye, then apply. It will look white when it comes out of the tube. I was worried about that. But the color did change ! We left it on for 40 minutes, then rinsed! Beautiful bright color!! I can't speak for how long it will last, yet. But it's pretty now. :) Update: I gotta say that it faded pretty fast. But it looked great for a few days.

Washes out SUPER FAST. Picture taken after two weeks of light washes. Color is beautiful, but definitely not permanent. Save your hair the trouble and get a semi permanent, they last longer.

Haven't used this yet because it does not include what you need. Creme Developer is needed in order to make this a true permeant and for the correct color, which it does not state anywhere that it's not included. They do a great job of hiding this fact since the instructions are written on the inside of the box which you have to tear apart in order to see. I'm hoping the color will be nice but I guarantee you this is why it's getting so many bad reviews. No developer = negative outcome.
