Designed to improve handwriting.
These really helped my son get ready for kindergarten. He struggled for a long time with holding the pencil correctly but this helped immensely. Fit his little fingers perfectly and was not tight at all, very easy and comfortable for him to use.

Don’t walk! Run and get you one for your toddler
Mommy of two toddlers here! My son just turned 3yr old in December. Lately He’s been really into reading and writing and I got him this pencil gripper along with a tracing/writing book I got from Amazon! This item arrived 2 days ago and he has been using it just for 2 days. I kid you not, I saw my 3year old holding his pencil WITHOUT the gripper and he had the pencil in his hand in the correct position and was tracing the letters in the book very well (well enoughfor a three year old). He never knew how to hold a pen or pencil properly (he used to use all his fingers) This gripper is helping him so much in such a short time. I can’t imagine how well he’ll be writing by the time turns 4yrs old.

Does NOT Fit JUMBO pencils
Ok, these are great for "regular" "normal" pencils, but they DO NOT fit jumbo toddler pencils, so I have to find one to help with that. My son also decided that these work well on his paintbrushes, so that is an interesting look and he likes to paint with it.

Good but big
They are good, a little big for my 4year old but they work as they should.

Nearly instant progress for my 4 year old.
TL;DR: Just buy it! You won’t regret it!Comfy, appears to be made well. Fairly durable too but we will see how that goes. Colors are pretty. I’d love to see a set with primary colors. The size is one size fits all in my opinion. It fit my fingers great but also fit my kiddo’s hand well. After one worksheet I noticed a ton of progress for my kiddo. I tested him with a marker, sans product, and he held it the right way with just a verbal reminder that we don’t hold the whole marker in our fist.My main reason for buying this product was to prevent developing poor habits with pencil grip, and to help support his little fingers a bit because he was complaining of a little discomfort when using the pencil with a correct grip. This thing helps just enough. We had a longer school lesson today with a good bit of tracing and coloring, and he never complained of discomfort. Plus, we didn’t spend 90% of the school lesson time correcting pencil grip. Highly recommend. Also, advice you didn’t ask for: Be patient and don’t compare your kiddo to other kids! 💛 Fine motor skill activities help as well! Plus they are fun and are good bonding time or kitchen table time so you can cook or do dishes or whatever. 😁 We do a loooot of Lego sets and play doh. 😅 and scissors. He loves scissors so we started with learning to use those before pencils. Confetti everywhere 🥲😂
