hi I have a metal outside type pond about 10-15 feet long and 4-5 feet wide that has 16 Shubunkins in it. Would this be suitable. No filters here.

I have a pond approximately half the size of yours, with 4 goldfish in and unfortunately the pond bomb didn’t make any difference whatsoever. I actually ended up draining the pond a couple of months later and found the remains of it lying at the bottom. I was advised that having 70% coverage with pond plants such as water lilies would make a huge difference to the green-ness of the water.

What volume of water will this treat? Have a very large pond, about 250,000 litres.

what time of year is best to use them

I put them in twice a year , I reduce pump running times by 80% in the winter and only run for one day a week to rotate water in filter system otherwise it will go stagnated. At end of Feb I partially clean filter system and put one directly into the media part of the filter system . The second is put in around may or June after a full filter clean down and i throw bomb directly into pond centre and let the bomb do its job.

What size pond does this cover please?

We use them on a 10x6 foot pond every couple of months and does the job well.
