Favorite Yerba!
Out of all the yerbas I’ve had, this one so far is my favorite. It’s not too bitter, great taste, and last longer than other yerbas. Love it!

The best maté you can get.
If you're new to yerba maté, get this. I drank it for a few years in Uruguay, where it comes from. Not frustratingly powdery like Brazilian style or filled with sticks and less flavor like Argentine matés. It is perfect. The green bag will not cause your heart to beat too fast like the original yellow bag version will! LOL

Too mild, but high quality
Canarias Serena clearly feels like a high-quality yerba mate. The leaves are well processed and the brew has a smooth, clean profile that makes for a relaxing mate session. It’s great when you want a calm, enjoyable mate break—gentle on the palate and soothing rather than sharp. Delivery was fast. The packaging arrived a bit battered, but it was sealed and there were no issues with the product itself. That said, it’s too mild for my taste. If you prefer a strong, high-caffeine yerba to kickstart your morning or power through a workday, Canarias Serena won’t deliver the intensity you’re after. I wouldn’t recommend it for people who need a bold, energizing mate; it’s better suited to those seeking a softer, more relaxing experience.

My favorite Mate - NOTE this is not 100% Mate, the ingredient list is WRONG
Reviewed: Canarias- Serena Yerba Mate 1kilo This is my favorite Mate, it has less caffeine than the regular Canarias. Serena means serene, this is the more "relaxed" blend. By American standards, it still packs a huge punch though, so beware, you will not sleep. Legend has it, it is made up of mostly Mate with lemon balm, passion fruit, mint, and lime. This can be seen on the front, it says "conpuesta con hierbas" - Compounded with herbs. It is not 100% mate but still taste like it, especially to the American pallet. If you have never had Mate, then beware, you should probably buy Mate tea bags instead. This is called Mate Compuesto. I see a ton of reviews stating that this is nasty or made wrong. Mate is simply a unique drink that by most standards is "weird" or "nasty". I would normally take off stars for a product that is so grossly misrepresented but I love it!!!!
