What size is the barrel of this Power Styler heated brush?

This is not 1 3/4 barrel. It is only an 1 inch. Maybe the with bristles it is. Sending it back, I wanted at least 1 1/2 inch like the one I have that broke.

What is the maximum temperature?

There isn't an indicator noting temperature, but there are 2 levels of heat. I have been using the higher one and it is somewhat hot. But because of the brushes, it does not burn your hand, neck, face, etc. When I run it through my hair (which is thick ) it does leave it hot, but not "fried". If you have thinner hair I'm sure the lower heat setting would be plenty.

The head rotates only when you turn the handle. The end cap is on a swivel which makes it easier as you rotate the brush. I have short hair and it works well for me. Carol
