Good household calculators are always useful. This Casio does all of the basic math functions plus: percentage, square root, tax rate/tax, switch sign, and memory. The displayed characters are 1/2" high well formed and presented in bright bold contrast. The keys have a tactile feel and are large enough and space enough to have room for even large fingers. Solar powered, it never requires batteries or recharging.

Perfect for anyone doing taxes and other hand calculations, perfect for the desk and you can read the numbers very well. Good buy overall.

I lost track of how many times I have bought this particular calculator (and the last time I had to buy one, years ago). They work great, they last a long time. It is very convenient that you don't need batteries because it is solar-powered, which it's a plus. Size is good and the numbers are very bright. I totally recommend it.

This is a GREAT model calculator. I've owned them for the past 40 years. They are solar operated but also have a battery backup and the battery literally lasts for years! After many, many years of use, I did replace my first one and imagine my surprise when I discovered that the exact same model is still being produced. I was thrilled! I replaced my original one and the replacement is working just as good as the original one. My mom recently indicated that she needed a calculator so I ordered this one on Amazon and had it shipped to her. After ordering she wondered if she should have gotten one with bigger numbers, easier to see, but when she received it, she was very happy with it and thanked me again. Here's a tip that I told mom and she loved the idea: Keep the hard plastic container the calculator comes in and store your Casio in it. It keeps it clean and handy. Calculator comes with a small instruction manuel, but it's really user friendly. I can't say enough good about this calculator. I hope Casio NEVER stops making them. Trust me, if you are considering buying a calculator buy this one. You will thank me later!

Love this little calculator! We had one just like it for over 10 years and it finally started having trouble holding a charge. 10+ years service for under $10 - cannot complain. It's a perfect calculator for our desk. I expect to buy another next decade.

This is a very nice looking calculator , good size and does everything you would expect it to do. It's great for a home desk or if you need to it will fit in your purse.
