Love this calculator!
The shipping was amazing and I got it right before a test I really needed the calculator for. All of the things that were described in the description were included and the calculator functions well. I would definitely buy and recommend purchasing calculators from Syracuse Calculators because they give you awesome deals for calculators that you need. In terms of how the product works, I have to say that I prefer the good old TI-84 silver edition than this more updated version. The color screen on the calculator is great, and typing in exponents are pretty great on this calculator as well, which is mostly what many of the classes I have to take seem to venture towards eventually, but the speed of the calculator when you type in the simplest thing to solve, 1+1, it seems to lag and slow down a bit before you can actually get the answer. I know that this isn't a big deal and you could just be patient for a couple of seconds until the answer pops up, but when you are taking a timed test......ugh, it gets annoying. >:( That said, don't think that it takes like five minutes before you get an answer, lol; it only takes like a couple of seconds vs. the older models which give you an answer ASAP. Another thing I do like very much about this calculator is that you can just charge it. I don't have to do out and buy some batteries every time they need some.... Anyways, Thank you Syracuse Calculators for your great service!

Best Calculator I've Owned Yet
Great calculator, I've used mine for a year now, in Algebra II, moving on to Pre Calc. If for any reason mine should break, I'll definitely get another to replace it. Pros: -The functionalitis are endless, and with the right programs, you can do just about anything wit this calculator. -The extra pixel display on the screen makes it super easy to read as opposed to the regular ti-83's and 84's, no more decoding ultra pixel font. -I just feel cooler with a color screen. -No need to worry about batteries, just don't lose the usb cable. Downsides: -There's a bit of a lag when some graphs load, it takes longer than some of the simpler graphing calculators. -Do NOT let the calculator reach 0 battery life, or the ram will be erased, warning -There are less pre-existing apps and special programs for this calculator, if you want to sit around and play pokemon instead of doing actual math, don't get this calculator. Overall, super great, and it doesn't even cost much more than the ti-84's, spend the extra $20 and get the better calculator, it's totally worth it.

Not for everyone.
I got this because, let's be honest, if you were in school within the past decade you probably used a TI83/+ or similar and you know how nifty they can be. I should have done a bit more research. It still has all those same qualities of the TI83/+ and more. However, it is still teetering on yesterday's technology as far as gadgets go. The color isn't really a noteworthy attribute unless you're making graphs with many different denominations (which this 1980's hardware technology can only handle so much...) Pros: - All the perks of the TI83/+. - Longevity. We all know the TI quality well and as of yet it has stood the test of time, mostly. The rules of mathematics are pretty concrete so what it does and how it does it shouldn't change. The calculator does what it's supposed to as well as it always has and it's allowed in the classroom, on standardized tests, etc. - App4Math and other apps. App4math hasn't proved fruitful as of yet, but there are some programs that can really 'help you out.' Con: - Very limited memory. Almost cripplingly so. It was released in 2012 so it HAS to pack a punch, right? Nope. Still a 15MHz processor and they graciously upgraded the RAM to 128KB and the ROM to 4MB with 3.5MB useable. Long story short, when I unboxed my shiny new TI-84 Plus-C and began to load it with programs it was very quickly full and I had to start deleting. I know this review may seem tedious or situational. Maybe this is all you want/need in a calculator. Maybe you're in school and only allowed the older TI models. Only the older models are allowed on ACT and SAT testing while the newer Nspire models are not. If that's the case then by all means, this is the TI quality and reliability you may have known and loved. Nothing has changed and this is a 5-star TI-quality capable calculator. I, on the other hand, would definitely consider some of their ARM-based TI-Nspire series calculators over any from this antiquated series in the future. With 100MB storage and 64MB of RAM (and with the OS upgrades and improvements over the years) the Nspire series seems to be more 'up to speed' with what I would expect from post-2012 technology. All in all, different people have different needs. If you're going to be using the calculator academically and restricted to what kind of calculator you're allowed to have then may as well get this one. If you're going to be using it for practical application outside the classroom then definitely consider newer generations of TI calculators. Although the Nspire seems to have a learning curve if you're accustomed to older generations. Just do your research and know your limitations. ______________Hint: Search the internet for "TI-84 vs Nspire CX CAS" (or other graphing calc you have in mind.) ___________________

Great, INTUITIVE Calculator For All Of Your Graphing Needs
I recently enrolled in a math course that required a graphing calculator. The professor didn't require any certain one, but did recommend the TI-84 as a solid option. I recall using a TI-83 back in high school over a decade ago, so I felt confident in sticking with the brand. I chose the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Much less bulky than the graphing calculators I've used in the past, the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition has a sleek design and rests easily in your hand. The color screen adds so much to the graphs and makes them so much easier to interpret. The keys and functions are much more intuitive than any calculator I've used in the past. It doesn't take a significant amount of time to charge, and it holds that charge for quite awhile (I'm two months into the semester and have not had to recharge it, yet!). All in all, it's a sound investment, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

It's faster, more Colorful and less bulky than the TI-83. You can even play flappy bird on it. A lot new trick you can do. Even cheating. Though it is not encouraged. Hope this helped.
