This fan is small but it’s very powerful! I bought it for my host stand at work since it’s starting to get warmer out. It has two speed settings which is all I really need. The output of air is very good for such a small fan. I love that it has a clamp so I can attach it above on a shelf or railing. The cord is long enough to allow you to hang it up higher. It was simple to put together and it’s not loud at all which is nice for a work setting. For less than $20 you cant really go wrong with this fan. It keeps me cool and since it’s a plug in, I don’t have to worry about any batteries dying.

This little clip‑on fan has been a great addition. It fastens securely, was super easy to assemble, and puts out a strong breeze. It is a bit on the louder side, but the airflow makes up for it. Overall, really happy with how well it works.

Didn't expect to love this! I mean, really, dinky little 2 speed fan, what's to love? Let me tell you what I use a fan like this for. My laptop sits on my desk, hooked up to a monitor, and is on probably 12 to 14 hours a day. It sits on a wire bakers cooling rack, and I keep a fan on it all of the time it's on. On Friday, my old (and I mean old) fan died. It's almost Christmas, so I jumped on Amazon to find the cheapest clip on fan I could get fast. I just wanted something to keep my laptop cool until after the holidays. Got this Monday, and I have to tell you, I am keeping it! The size is perfect for this use! It's a little smaller than the old one, and does not blow as much on the desk. It sets about three inches from the laptop, and directs all of the air towards it. The laptop is actually cooler than it was with the old fan, and that's on low. Grips nicely on my glass desktop. Now, can we discuss quiet? I actually have to look at it to know it's running! I have never had a fan that ran this quietly. Yes, it's small, lightweight, and plastic. However, it looks to be well constructed, and it's not cheap plastic. It does everything you could expect a 6" fan to do, I think. I would not hesitate to buy it again.

I am giving it five stars because of being able to clip on a windowsill and it’s price. However, I have bought several of these fans oner the years and while the motor and fan continued to work, the fan “cage” is thin and disintegrated over time on each of the fans, which then had to be thrown out. If this fan were made of metal it would justifiably command a higher price - - and be worth it.

I had a similar one for years that was more powerful until it quit. This has 2 speeds as did my old one but high speed is not as strong as the low speed on my old one.

Got this great little clip-on for my puppy's crate. Keeps him comfortable when it gets warm & it is very quiet!

We expected to really like this little fan. But it is defective - wasn’t built right at the factory, and so many parts are loose in ways that we can’t fix ourselves. The fan itself is loose on the little pole, and the whole thing shakes and vibrates so badly, we dont dare run it on high. The pads on the clip are so small, they don’t hold the weight of the fan, so the clip tilts and then the whole thing tilts farther even though the clip itself grips ok (ok, not strong). And the switch is loose too, so turning it on and off is a slide, not a click, and we have to check and worry to make sure it is off. The clip and fan were easy to assemble, just one screw, but nut was loose in the box, the plastic doesnt have a deep-enough seat for the nut, and the nut is very thin, so we had a hard time finding the nut, and when we put it together, we couldnt make make that extra tiny bit of a turn that makes you sure it is tight enough. It just spun slowly and didnt grab onto the plastic. But while it is running on low, it moves air up to about 18 inches away, and low is a quiet hum. Less air moving than you would expect. So we will chat with amazon customer service to see if they will accept a return and refund. And we will probably keep trying to find our old Holmes, which looked the same but was built better and lasted maybe 4 years straight of constant use.
