I purchased this to provide more light in a shady corner where I hung a new piece of art. It was very easy to install, it comes with an easy to use template and even has a little level built right into it! I hung it myself with no trouble. I do not use it everyday - it’s turned on when we have guests or when I want to enjoy the art it’s mounted over. I read the reviews about it not being bright enough. I can see why someone might think that, if the area you are lighting is really dark or you are expecting bright illumination. I think it does the job. I love that you can adjust for cool or warm light, it has brightness control and a timer. The remote is really easy to use. It looks great, I highly recommend!

I ordered two of these after being dissatisfied with a competitors product that I bought here on Amazon. First off it is packed very well. It takes three AA batteries. It was easy to install Though I did find the wall anchors substandard so I went and purchased better wall anchors at the hardware store. I used the level that was provided on the unit to make sure it was level. You install The provided bracket to the wall. And then slide the unit onto it. It fits snugly to the wall. The unit itself gives off good light. It has several options for color settings. The remote works very well from a distance of 10 feet . One Remote can work both systems independently simply by aiming at the one picture you wish to adjust. Both the right and left side of the Lighting unit could be adjusted independently Simply by turning it either Up or down. In closing I would like to say I highly recommend this item and if need be I will be purchasing more in the future.

easy install, nice operates w/bateries ( no wire on wall) size is perfect, looks quite handsome although is nothing close to vintage look it plays well with the frame/pic color.Is not to bright golden and though is nice BUt I think is a little bit short on the light projection from the top to where I wanted to pop out the area of the pic.therefore I turned it to the right to project the light in the spot needed nevertheless it look nice if lights are low or off. but is not a high bright light projection, at least in mild yellow not white and it does not project far down neither, just enough from the top to I'd say halfish of the frame of 24'Hx20-22is'W. But however it does the work if U cannot or are not able to find or spend what U really would like.

I bought two of these lights in black. I had them installed within about 20 minutes of taking them out of the box. They have a level built right into the mounting plate so you should not be able to fail at getting it right the first time. The lights are not quite as bright as I would like. They do have three light settings, warmer and brighter and almost a blue bright light. But they do the job. Created some soft lite in what was a dark space in my house. And thought the remote works fine, walked by and hitting the power button when I am tucking in the for night does the trick too. I would def recommend this product.

This is a great light to enhance a painting and it changes the whole look and made ours look beautiful. However, be prepared to use the on and off button on the light because the remote is cheap and broke on day one. There is no way to contact the seller and the only option is to return the light that is already installed and just turn it on an off at the light. I am disapointed that I cannot contact the seller to request a new remote which I don't think it right for a $30 item. So I recommend doing some research to make sure you buy a light that you can contact the seller if needed and also hang the light where you can reach it if you need to turn it on and off at the light. (Seller if you are reading this review, which I hope you are, please contact me so we can discuss a new remote for my purchase.)

Very pice portrait light- as you can see from the photos, I have an outlet above my painting anyway, but in order to turn on lights like that you need to be able to reach the switch- which is why I opted for the battery powered remote control one. It’s a very clean looking light, simple and basic. It doesn’t look cheap (especially from a distance) and it fits my space really well. It doesn’t throw off a ton of light, but it doesn’t bother me too much- I bought it so it would highlight the texture of the art I put under it. I’m concerned about losing the remote, it’s very small and slim. It has really nice features like timers (15,30,60,90 minutes) and a brightness control and warm vs cold tone light.

It’s beautiful. It’s better than expected. It came with everything needed to mount it to the wall with ease. The light can be cool, warm or a combo of both and can be bright or dim. The light can be twisted and adjusted to hit the perfect spot on your displayed art. The remote works perfectly but you can also Turn it on and off without the remote by pushing a button on the side of the light. This is so well made, works beautifully and is sleek! We are very please with this purchase. And I can’t say enough about all the options it has to be hung with ease and precision. Definitely a great light for a great price!

This lamp is easy to install and there is no need for wires. Its remote control is easy and works well. I bought this lamp to illuminate a dartboard when it gets dark. The light from the lamp covers a good wall area that includes the dartboard and a small blackboard used to keep the score. However, even though I placed new, fresh batteries, the LEDs were not bright enough. I ended up installing a 60-watt equivalent LED bulb, a base for the bulb, a light switch, and wiring, which I connected to a nearby fan. It is now bright enough for playing darts in the evening. The lamp should be good for pictures, paintings, art works, etc. but not for a dartboard in a low light environment. The lamp is just not adequate for this application.
