Does it have the option of takinf panomaric pictures?

Yes! It's so cool. The picture is 180 degrees. So: put your finger on the button and press; a box comes up that tells your to pan right, and shows how far (a line is drawn in the box) you have to go yet. (You go a long, long, way. Your waist will hurt if your started straight, so start looking left!) When you view it you can look at it as a single picture, or as a little movie. Cool. Very cool.

With a 32gb card you can store many thousands of pictures or probably an hour and a half of HD video
