Pip and Posy: The Bedtime Frog Hardcover – Picture Book, March 11, 2014

This is a favorite in our house as are all the Pip and Posy stories. Perfect for 2-5 year olds and also a good one for children learning to read on their own. The illustrations in this series of books are adorable and the story is relatable and sweet, especially if your child snuggles with a favorite stuffed animal at night. I love the friendship between Pip and Posy! These books have a timeless feel yet are not at all dated or fusty. They aren’t annoying (for the grown up) yet follow a predictable pattern that kids enjoy.. oh and they are the PERFECT length for a night time book, especially if you are made to read two or three :)

Our kids, in the 1-5 year range, ALL love this series! It's especially great for toddlers who can identify with so much of what the characters go through (especially the crying/getting sad over things very important to toddlers!). The Bedtime Frog is our favorite in the series. We love the lessons it teaches (sharing and comforting your friend) and love the funny details in some of the pictures - such as the banana peel left on the road (kids love pointing out how naughty it was for someone to leave it there and like to point out the trash can where it should've gone), and the random penguin mixed in with farm animals. The bedtime theme is familiar and easy to identify with. Pip and Posy books are the best!

Pip and posy are tow best friends who together deal with the problem encountered by a preschooler. Lovely pictures of their toy strewn houses.

Good read to kid books.

Amazing author and illustrator for kids ages 1-6. We will likely get everything they've published and Amazon as always delivers exactly as they promise.

Two-year-olds will sympathize with this situation--the missing comfort object. For some reason they also love books with one page in a dark room. This author gets it.

My 3-year old absolutely loves Pip and Posy books. We recently added this one to his collection. It is a must read every night!

Absolutely the favourite series of books of my 2 year old. Easy to understand and clear illustrations.

A mi hijo le encanta esta saga. Estan bien de precio y el libro está muy bien dibujado. Tiene muchos detalles y cada vez que lo leemos nos fijamos en algún detalle extra.

Il libro al suo interno è dotato di Q Code, ottimo per far ascoltare la giusta pronuncia ai bambini.Pienamente soddisfatta.Purtroppo sugli altri libri di questa serie pip and posy nn è specificato se all'interno sono dotati di Q code infatti ne avevo compratp un altro (the super scooter) che ho reso perché nn c'era il Q code all'interno.

Meine Kinder lieben alle Bücher von Pip und Posy, umso gespannter waren wir auf dieses neueste Werk. Die 2 sind 3 Jahre und man muss sagen dass sie die Bücher lieben liegt an den schönen Illustrationen des Herrn Scheffler. Der Geschichte können sie zwar auch immer leicht folgen aber diese ist bei den Büchern oft nur nebensächlich für meine Kinder. Auf den Bildern gibt es viele liebevoll gestaltete Details zu entdecken.Hier nun fährt Posy mit dem Bus zu Pip um bei ihm zu übernachten. Zuvor packt sie sorgfältig ihren Koffer zu Hause vergisst aber ihren Kuschelfrosch. Die beiden haben einen schönen Nachmittag bis es ins Bett geht und Posy feststellt, dass ihr Frosch fehlt. Pip bietet alles mögliche an und überlässt ihr schliesslich sein Kuschelschwein. Am nächsten Tag findet Posy zu Hause dann den Frosch auf der Kommode wo sie ihn vergessen hatte.Den Kindern gefiel das Buch, aber am beliebtesten bleiben bei uns der Rote Ballon und die Pfütze. Ich bestelle die Bücher immer auf Englisch weil die Übersetzungen oft gräuslich sind.
