LEROY SOMER R220 mainly used in 1 phase application can also be installed in 3 phase 12 wire generators. Standard alternator models are LSA40 & LSA42.3 shunt excitation only. See R450 or D510C for AREP or PMG excitation applications. The R220 is a simple design, inexpensive and a perfect solution for small generators especially for standby or prime continuous applications.
