I purchased two of these hoses to replace two (still good) rubber hoses on my nine year old "Kenmore" washer. As I purchased these from "Amazon", they are listed and sold as ONE hose each. If you wish to replace both the hot and cold water hoses on a washing machine, be sure to order TWO of these hoses. Because these are stainless steel braided (clad) hoses, they should be far safer from bursting for far longer than plain rubber hoses. I have seen the water damage from burst rubber hoses on washing machines and it is not a pretty sight. I priced these same hoses at my local "big box" home stores and these are far cheaper for the same listed specifications so I decided to give these a try. Despite some other reviews, I had absolutely no trouble at all installing these two hoses. I found them to be very flexible and they both came with rubber washers installed in both ends of the two hoses. I am rather "handy" so I installed them myself. They will fit standard water valves and standard (as they are on my "Kenmore" washer) water input spigots. I installed and tightened them by hand and then gave each end an extra quarter turn with channel lock (pump) pliers. I have had NO leaks or drips since install or to now, a month later. I have only had these hoses installed for one month so it is far to early to know how long they may last. In my experience with being a "handy man", these hoses seem to be of very high quality for the price. They seem to be of the very same quality as the ones I saw at the "big box" stores that were priced a lot higher than these. These two hoses that I received from "Amazon" are made in China but so was every other hose of this type I saw anywhere. I even asked a plumber friend of mine about "American Made" hoses and he laughed and said "Good luck finding any of these made in America". By the way, this same plumber friend thought these looked to be a great buy too. Again, it's too early to know how long they may last but these seem to be very good in my opinion and I especially liked the price. So, as I continue to hope they will last, I would recommend them. UPDATE: I'm still very pleased with these hoses. It is now June 6th, 2017 and I have now had these hoses installed for one year and 9 months. These hoses could of course fail at any time but I'm convinced these hoses are far safer and will probably last a LOT longer than the two rubber hoses they replaced.

Easy to hook up to my washing machine, and no leaks. Perfect solution for my problem. Used it for a lifeplus portable washer that only had a hook up for bath or kitchen faucet. Thanks for a good product.

Solid product! Imagine the horror on my face when my husband told me that the hot water hose on our washer had split. We have a six-month-old baby and what seems to be an endless amount of laundry. After shopping around, I purchased two of these hoses and had my husband install them for both the hot and cold water. In less than two days (the time it took for shipping), we were back to using our washing machine and washing the baby's clothes. As for installation, it was pretty simple. My husband turned off the water, took off the old hoses and put the new ones on. The quality seems a lot more durable than the ones that came with our LG front loader. For the price paid, I would definitely purchase these again, but I'm hoping that we won't have to for a long time!

I ordered 3 of these (2 for my washer) and (1 for my dryer wrinkle free function). The first two were completely fine. I put them on and forgot about them. The third one was leaking slightly where it goes on the dryer. I reconnected it a couple times to make sure. I switched it out for a cheap rubber hose and it didn't leak. So I got a defective one. It seems to be a well made product, even for being made in china, but it's possible to get a bad one. I would still buy it, but just keep an eye on it for the first couple days after it's installed to see if it leaks or not. Also make sure it's on tight (use pipe wrench pliers) and you use teflon tape (goes on in the same direction as the connection, clockwise in most cases). I am going to order another one and will keep my review as long as it doesn't leak.

The price and quality of these hoses are perfect. I'm very happy with them and would recommend them to others. ****UPDATE**** Because I was trolled by "Steve at Floodchek" in my comments, I thought I'd update my review. I initially gave the hoses 4 stars because they're hoses and they were working. I realized that I'm coming up to having owned them for almost two years and they're still doing very well. I increased the rating from 4 to 5 stars. I have no worries with these hoses and check them periodically. They show no fraying, no cracking or problematic issues. For a living, I do home inspections, so I'm constantly keeping an eye out for issues with my own home. So "Steve at Floodchek" I don't appreciate you're indirect advertising of your product and your blatant bashing of a product that is working wonderfully in my home and as the reviews indicate, many many other homes. Advertise your product in a much more appropriate way, stop playing on peoples fears and you may start to have some success.

This is my 2nd set of hoses, the first set worked great for over 2 years before I moved to a new home. These seem to be very similar to the $25 - $30 set you see at the big box stores but at a fraction of the cost. Note that the price listed is for ONE hose, so make sure to order two (one for hot and one for cold) They are easy to install... just make sure to have a pliers handy if you don't have a strong finger grip. I installed mine, checked for leaks, and then re-checked a couple hours later just to double check. No leaks!

I was having a problem that my HE3 washer would beep a code indicating low water flow so I would have to pause and restart each load. I read on the Internet that a clogged hose could be the problem and it was. I bought this hose because it is steel braided so it will be more durable and keep the hose from bursting. It would have been nice to have a 90 degree elbow on one end so that the washer could be closer to the wall but you can't beat the price and prime too. It was east to install and my washer now has good flow so my problem was fixed without a service call. You are supposed to replace the hoses every 5 yrs and these hoses make it easy on the wallet.

I used to hook an outside faucet to another male faucet. flexibility and appearance are excellent , doe not leak at the connections
