What is the overall length and width in the folded position not just of the ironing board itself but including the mount?

The board is 41 inches long by 13 1/2 inches wide on the wall. It takes up very little space and works great.

Does this ironing board swivel?

It does not swivel, it folds up- flat against the wall. It’s been very convenient.

Can the add on iron holder be purchased separately?Holder

yes or use your own, i would suggest that the holder mounted on the wall next to the unit, have a heat option. being that you can put the iron away hot, with no issues.

Can you put a hot (unplugged) iron in the holder on the back, right after ironing, or do you have to wait for it to cool down?

I brought an iron holder I mounted to the wall, right next to the board with its outlet. The holder will allow you to put the hot iron in place without any problems. More work, but very convenient to use, the small iron holder mounted on the wall next to the iron board. Just a idea
