Standard snow scraper with softer flagged bristles that are easier on paint
I needed a snow scraper for my new car, but wanted something with softer bristles that wouldn't scratch the paint. As you can see from my photo, the difference between an off-brand with standard bristles and this Mallory brand with flagged bristles is clear - the Mallory feels much softer to the touch and I won't worry about it scratching paint, while the off-brand feels very stiff and rough. It works and holds up just fine as your standard snow scraper. I do wish the head was angled more like a broom so you could "pull" the snow down towards you rather than have to sweep it back and forth like you do with this style. It can be awkward for bigger SUVs but not a huge deal for smaller cars. Overall, it works just fine for clearing my car for a reasonable price.

So useful!
I got this just two days before it snowed, and then rained, causing a thick sheet of ice to form over my car while I was at work. This scraper made it pretty easy to chip and scrape all the ice off while my car heated up. It's a decent size, and as a smaller person, I was able to get enough leverage and reach to get it all done. That night, I told my coworker about this ice scraper. He bragged to me about how his had a horizontal handle, and was extendable, and points to break through the ice. A couple minutes after I started working on my car, he drove up next to me with only a small space chipped off his windshield. His ice scraper had broken apart right after he started using it!So, despite not having all those fancy features, I'll be keeping this sturdy piece of plastic.

Nice -- but wrong color!!
I ordered this item, and selected RED -- there were two options shown, red or blue -- I picked RED. Then, I get an email saying.."color may vary" and I thought that was odd -- cause I clearly selected the RED one. My car is red...so of course it must match! Got it today -- and its BLUE! Darn. Now, its only 10 bucks, so not terrible. The brush is very nice, and the bristles very soft on the end...and won't scratch the paint on my brand new car and I do love the spongy handle.. My son bought me a red snow brush, -- the same day I got this one -- but brush is hard and stiff -- could scratch paint -- so I'm keeping this for now, and looking out for a similar red one in the future. I feel like I was tricked...but again, only 10 bucks.

Giving You The Brush Off.....
This is a nice brush, with a foam cover over part of the handle, making it easy to hold. It has good bristles and a nice scraper at the opposite end. The length is decent enough to reach across windshields on average size cars, and not so big that it is cumbersome to store in the car.If you have a larger car/SUV, you'll need to walk around to the other side to clear the entire windshield. The bristles are dense/firm enough so that you can push snow (even somewhat heavy snow) easily off the car. This is a good brush, and a great value for the price.

excellent tool, very comfortable and versatile
Ordered and received this just in time for a local winter storm that hit and blanketed everything in nearly an inch of ice. This made clearing my vehicle much easier. The leverage gained by the added length over a simple hand scraper is priceless. It is also quite comfortable to use and breaks up solid ice with little to no effort at all. My vehicle finish and windows were preserved with no visible damage or scratches from scraper. The brush portion performed very well, not clumping up with ice, nor smearing the remnants of ice & water all over the vehicle surface. Very happy with this tool and will be ordering a second as an in-car backup. Highly Recommended.

Too short.
I thought I could get away with this and not one of those telescoping ones. Turns out 26" is pretty small. I have a compact sedan and have to stretch to get halfway across. Also, snow gets impacted in the bristles really easily, and I often need to clean it out once or twice before clearing my car. The ice scraper works pretty well, but again the handle length is limited. Build quality seems pretty solid.

Cheap, well-made, gets the job done
This thing has gotten so much snow and ice off my car's windshield and windows this winter. For the price, it's surprisingly well-made and sturdy. I keep it in the floor behind my driver's seat and one day I dropped a heavy bag on top of it, right in the middle of the handle, and it didn't snap or bend at all. Very glad I bought this, it's helped me get through my first winter in a snowy state.

The flagged bristles as soft and gentle on your car.
While I only got to use it once this year given my late purchase and the warming weather, this brush deserves 5 stars. The long length lets me reach all the way across my car if I need to but more important is the bristles. My old brush had stiff plastic bristles that made a scraping sound when trying to sweep snow off of my hood or roof. This brush however, has flagged bristles. The ends of flagged bristles look like regular bristles have been crushed or cut lengthwise numerous times, almost like split hairs. This makes them far softer and more pliant than regular bristles. With this brush I can sweep the snow off of my car with no scraping sound and no worries about scratching my car.I will note that the flagged bristles tend to collect more snow on them but a quick hit or two to my boot and it came off well enough. And what's the bigger concern? Some extra snow sticking to your brush? Or micro scratches all over your car?As for the scraper section, it did its job and as of its first use, stayed flat while providing even contact with the ice.My only complaint is that I got red instead of blue. It would be nice if you could choose your color rather than it being random.
