Excellent !!!
After receiving the package, I can't wait to open it. I got the dash cam is wrapped in a soft protective bag first. The structure of the dash cam is very simple with the black matte surface, nice design. It also has a 1.5-inch screen, and the dash cam is also very small and light, saving a lot of space for my car. The manual is a booklet with a form of accompanying the text, very concise and easy to understand. I spent 10 minutes to understand the internals of the dash cam. The menu is very simple and easy to understand, supports multiple languages, and has built-in functions such as loop recording, WDR, motion detection.... I spent 15 minutes to understand the internals of the dash cam. The menu is very simple and easy to understand, supports multiple languages, and has built-in functions such as loop recording, WDR, motion detection.... Suction cup mount has two adjustments nobs which are very easy to use to get the correct angle. The suction mount has a twist to secure feature I like when locking the suction cup in place. In general, very Easy to install and use. Regarding the quality of the picture, the quality of 1080p is really good. I can record the picture quality I want when I am driving. For its price, this is indeed a very worthy dash cam.

Satisfied with this dash cam
This HD Dashboard Cam has some impressive features. In this section, we'll take a closer look at the very modest investment you'll get. You will record in 1080 full HD quality. The lens in the camera is a 170-degree wide-angle lens. You can be as broad as possible without causing massive distortions. It still allows you to capture what is happening around you, where many accidents can occur. You can also set this device to record any audio. This is a handy feature, but you must be careful about legitimacy. Before you use it, it is best to check with your state's attorney for violations of the 1 and 2 party consent laws. The quality is very high and can add any evidence of collection. A small 1.5-inch display is built in, so you can quickly view the material without downloading it to your computer. This is very convenient because you can quickly determine if something happening on the road is fully documented and is suitable as evidence. The display is a bit small, not a wide screen format. But this is enough for a quick review. Byakov supports up to 32GB microSD cards. You will have to order one of them separately, but they are not that expensive. At 30 frames per second and 1080 HD, you will be able to record about 1 hour of video, and the stored data will be automatically overwritten in a continuous loop. This is a very handy feature, which means you don't have to delete files regularly to make more room.

Almost returned - works great - getting to work not so great
The good: Once it starts working it records great and I do really like it. I struggled in the beginning, but I more patient than some. The picture is great and what I would expect for its purpose. Contrary to some reviews I read, the picture quality is very good and what I would expect for the products purpose. You can read license plates if the vehicle is within 1 1/2 car lengths but the purpose is to capture an event and if you capture a licenses plate that is a bonus... and you will if you are a part of that event. You have to expect some pixel-ation if you want to be able to record in real time... If you think you should have satellite quality, this product is not for you. The Struggle: 1) Make sure you have a class 6 or better SD card ... AND ... the card is a minimum of 16GB but no more than 32GB. As I stated, I "almost returned." I read the reviews and the only legitimate negative was you needed to be sure you had a "class 6" SD card for speed and quality or better. However I had purchased a 64GB and a 128GB and neither worked. The Byakov manufacturer said my card could not be larger than 32GB or less than 16GB... Boom... when I installed the 32GB it worked excellently and started recording immediately on queue. These details should be specified by the MFGr and are not, so hopefully you read this review. Contact info: 2) It took 1 week for the MFGr to respond to my question and offer a solution. Either the contact information was not available or not monitored... they eventually answered email. Probably many of the same question (ha). Setting up: 3) I did read the instruction booklet but I had difficulty figuring out how to navigate menu for setup. Mode (far left): Switch between picture and video Menu (far right): short brief presses to navigate the menu - long press turns off Power: acts as "Enter" on short press - turns off if held long < >: exactly what you expect 4) I could not navigate or use the menu with the SD card installed, ironically, you need the menu to format or clear the SD card. But when I installed the card I did not need to format it... it worked immediately. You will need to uninstall the card to navigate the menu to setup the date/time and any other preferences you have. I don't know what happens when the card is full? Does it overwrite? It took 40-45 minutes to record 8GB.

Like it but don’t love it.
I wanted to get a dash cam after a semi truck hit me about 3 weeks ago. Not wanting no proof or evidence again I decided to settle for this dash cam since it had many great reviews. It got delivered really quick and the set up was fairly easy. I took maybe 5 mins to go through the setting to get the right quality I wanted. Now there’s some pros and there’s some cons to this cam. Pros: fairly cheap, decent video and photo quality in the daytime. Really easy to use and navigate. Super small so it won’t get in the drivers way. Automatically starts recording once it detects motion. Automatically turns off when your vehicle is off after 5 seconds. Comes with a long charging cord so you can weave it into your cars seams. Cons: battery life. You basically have to have it plugged in at all times. Comes with a USB 2.0 or 5 pin charging cable which is suuuuuper outdated. Night times quality lacks compared to the daytime quality. It doesn’t come with a micro sd card. So overall if you need a dash cam just to feel safer on the road or need it to record evidence I would recommend it. For the price it isn’t soo bad. You get a dash cam that will do what it’s meant to do. Like many reviews stated, the quality isn’t super bad, its not like a 4K GoPro camera or anything but for the price you can’t beat that. I would upload some photos and videos but the Amazon app on my phone is acting up. I hope this review helped some of you guys determine if you should purchase this or not.

The outlet plug is too big! Won’t fit my Honda 2016 CRV
So, I was super excited to receive this dash cam. I unfortunately had to buy a new car, so I thought getting a dash cam for my new car would be a good idea. I went out this afternoon to instal it, and I was extremely bummed when I went to plug in the outlet.... it doesn’t fit!!!!! I thought having a new model of a car was the issue, but I went to try to plug it into other cars of all kinds of years and models, and it’s still too big! I’m seriously so upset that I spent my money on this camera to not have the outlet fit. It’s rendered useless to me at this point. I was so excited to have this too. I hope it’s not something I did wrong in the ordering process or something, but either way.... just wow. I at least expected that part to not go wrong. I’m sure it’s a good camera, but I’ll never know

very clear and easy to use
I got this dash cam as a replacement for a cheap and nasty one I 've had for a few weeks now... Firstly I was impressed that this only cost 10 quid more than my cheap and nasty one When it arrived I knew it was a good decision because the build quality was excellent...it was well put together and unlike most polymer-based shells....the shell fitted together very tightly and looks very professional. The cam itself looks quite stylish and definitely well built. It's not without its issues... I noticed 2 little things that bugged me a little. So despite the rest of it looking so good and very professional....the side buttons just look like a cheap addition. They are solidly attached and don't wobble unlike most like that but they just don't quite fit the aesthetic of the product. Overall for the price I am really really happy...its about on par with my expensive 100+ one I bought about 2 years ago Very happy and its well built Am buying another set for my other car!

Nice for the Price
This is a nice little camera for a good price. I have had a similar one in the past, they all seem to have the same start up sound. Makes me think the guts inside the small similarly priced units are pretty much the same. I use this for a rear facing camera. So far there have been no problems. The only initial glitch was recognizing and formatting the SD card. I had the correct type but it took a few tries to get it to format. Picture quality is good enough to read license plates, the field of view provides nice coverage and the night recording is fine not stellar. The similar cameras I have had in the past seem to last a couple years or so then I think the internal battery/capacitor tend to degenerate and cause issues. I'm OK with that it's a harsh environment for the little bargain camera and it is much cheaper than what I pay my insurance company for some actual physical peace of mind in case of an incident. One thing, I couldn't figure out how the claimed parking monitor function works as stated int the description.

Works weirdly, when it works
My truck's USB port is on all the time, so counting on the ignition to start up the camera is not one of my options. Motion doesn't seem to be an auto-start option either, although the camera's menu implies that should be a thing. I suspect the odds that I'll remember to turn the camera on before I get into a situation are slim-to-none, so the camera is pretty much useless for its intended purpose. Oddly, it also seems to turn off independently of any program setting. The picture quality is excellent, though. On the odd chance that it would be on when I need it the video evidence will be pretty useful. The suction attachment is really overkill for the weight of the camera, not a bad thing. It looks like there is a provision for upgrading the firmware, in the list of options in the menu, but I doubt that a company this disorganized will ever bother with that feature. I guess this is an example of getting what I paid for and it was a good thing it was cheap.
